calm and peaceful vibes. Very close to varkala cliff around 100m and close to the beach as well. Reasonable pricing with good and clean rooms. Caretaker was very helpful and generous.
AC room is very nice and cool. Plenty of space in the room, with a balcony too. Bed is slightly on the hard side, but this seems normal for India! The host is so so friendly, I would give 5 stars just for him! He helped to organise a motorbike too, and gave recommendations on where to visit. There are also kitchen facilities available for use if needed. I'd highly recommend a visit!
We made a booking by paying an advance using Hostelworld. But the property denies the booking and is not ready to verify the booking ID. Property says they are not accepting Hostelworld bookings since 2 years but the property is listed for booking on the website. Has the property taken any steps to remove themselves from the listings? Answer is No. And the response from the reception is ridiculous.
Best budget and backpacker friendly place in Varkala. Really helpful staff, clean rooms and central location to the cliff.
quiet, clean and friendly. the staff was ever helpful and the rooms were clean and well designed. very relaxed vibe with lots of trees and shade. 200m from the cliff, shared common kitchen for tea and snacks. helped us a lot with cooking for infants. highly recommended.
