The Lonely Tree is a captivating natural landmark situated on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. It stands as a solitary sentinel amidst a rugged terrain of rocks. Depending on the season, the tree's surroundings undergo a dramatic transformation. During certain parts of the year, it finds itself completely encircled by the flowing waters of the Brahmaputra, rendering it an isolated oasis. This solitary tree exudes an aura of serenity and tranquility. Its isolation in the midst of the river's ebb and flow creates a serene atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for introspection and contemplation. Its beauty is striking, and its majestic presence commands attention. Visitors to the Lonely Tree have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the calmness of nature, affording them the time to reflect on life's most profound questions, as well as the countless insignificant yet captivating details of the world around them. It's a place where one can find solace and a deeper connection with the natural world.
The view 5 star but as you know it's our Assam who fail to maintain the beauty, beautiful beer bottle with beautiful chips packed littering everywhere :-) , you guys collect entry fee collect plastic fee also like other states do and clean it
Beautiful place to enjoy the sunset along with Brahmaputra. Also dolphin can be seen. The name of the place is justified with the nature and surrounding environment.
An amazing place to spend a quiet afternoon and to view the sunset. A decent photographer would be able to take mesmerising pictures because the landscape is very beautiful.
Such a great place to chill with friends or loved ones. Chilled air is what makes your mood the best. Loved the vibe very much.
Actually the tree is in a Shiv Mandir premises. Parking available. Presently the Mandir committee is collecting 25/person to enter the premises. Smoking and drinking is strictly prohibited.
It's a very calm place in the middle of the mighty Brahmaputra. On the way to Pani khaiti you will find the road, Precisely Place name is Barchapari, Tamulbari Rd, Chandrapur. While entering you'll find one Shiv ji Temple where you'll have to pay 20rs per person as a maintenance charge. Please note- don't litter this beautiful place . Thank you
