The ambiance is excellent and that's the only good thing about this place. Otherwise, the entire hi tea experience was a terrible let down. We were four of us( 2 adults and 2 kids) so we ordered 2 Indian Hi-tea platters. The tea and coffee was okay but the food was horrible. The plantain chips, murukku and shakkara uperi was stale, the samosas, puff and Kathi roll was very cold and not tasty. The quantity of green chutney given was more than the savories provided. The sweets tasted just ok and we thought every sweet tasted very similar. They can definitely serve better food here. I am sad that given the ambience they could definitely redo their hi-tea menu and serve tastier food. A terrible let down for my kids who had high expectations for a hi-tea.
Beautiful lobby at the leela palace! The ocean view is unbelievable and it really leaves you spell bound. For me this was the highlight of the hotel as you could see the ocean waves hitting the hotel walls. The area just before the access to the ocean is a garden which too is very beautiful to look at!! I didn't eat anything as I was attending a conference but this was my go to place to hang in the hotel
Our server vinayak was extremely helpful and courteous, and the food was delicious! We had a great time over all

Extremely dissatisfied with the hi tea service. First of all, it took over an hour for them to get the hi tea. We had to wait over 10-15 mins for cutlery. Poor service, poor food quality. Extremely underwhelming.
In November 2021, we went to the restaurant to have a meal. The ceiling leaked and the water dripped directly into the drinking cup. The grilled crayfish is not fresh, the meat is rotten, and the fishy smell is very strong. Hope to avoid these problems from happening again. Thank you.
The Lobby lounge restuarant..The staff was polite and professional and their service was great. I ordered a wedding anniversary cake here.. Since I needed it right away, they suggested a cake which was on display and ready for sale. The cake tasted amazing! I have not had cake like that in ages!!!. We loved the cake! Thank you guys!
