The Last Resort - Resort hotel in Tarikere - Chikkamagaluru, India

This is the optimum getaway if you're looking for a no nonsense stay around Kemmanagundi. Place perfectly away from the town but not too far, and a few minutes drive from the major destinations around, including the trail start to Z point. The rooms are very spacious and are spaced optimally, providing the perfect balance between privacy and not feeling isolated. The food is simple and filling fare, just what is needed while travelling. The hosts are very accommodating. Overall, perfect value for the reasonable price I paid.

The home stay is nice. The place is location on foothills and not on any hill. The rooms are spacious and the food was really good. The home stay is pet friendly as well. Might be because of summer there was lot of power issue which was inconvenient. Overall experience is good and will hospitality was also really good.

This resort is not very suitable for family because it does not have restrictions on alcohol or smoking outside the rooms. The rooms were not tidy, water droplets kept falling from the roof, lots of lizards in the room. The food was bad too, there are a lot of cats in the estate and they were wandering around in the dining hall. It was very unpleasant and disturbing to have food there as they jump and sit right next to you.

Overall experience was good staying here and there were some games like Table tennis, carom board and cards. The fire camp was very good and attractive as there were a dedicated place for it.. Individual speakers per crew has been provided which was a great idea. We vibe a lot in the fire camp putting song in the speaker. Overall it is good

Hands down the best villa i have stayed. Beautifully crafted villas with individual car parking and campfire place. The owner and staff were very humble and took care to cater our needs. cant get to detail the landscaping setup, very beautiful and relaxing indeed. If you want a stay along your z point and hebbe falls visit, this is the place.

If you love a cottage or a room in the lap of nature then this is the place. The vegetation surrounding the place makes it a perfect getaway from the noise and pollution of city. The rooms here are good and you can choose plan which includes breakfast/dinner. The staff is prompt and service is superb. We had rooms with dinner and the food provided was like home cooked, healthy and tasty. So, if you are planning to track Kemmangundi Z track or to Bhadra Reserve, Waterfall, etc. you can choose this place. Nice and quite.

Had a 2 day stay in March2022. Stay was good. Staff was very courteous and had a good hospitality. Rooms are comfortable for 2 days stay and food was good. They also packed hot water in the flask while leaving. The place is bit interior and had a trouble initially in finding the stay. Have a pleasant stay here.

It is a very good place to stay very peaceful as a family we loved it the hosts are very warm and welcoming. If you don't mind about the whitesheets and sophisticated beds that you would get in a hotel room but this is manageable because other things of the place is so beautiful and you will find it heart warming. Please go ahead and stay without any second thoughts.
