If you are looking for a budget-friendly bar in a nearby area then this is the best option indeed. I have visited Kandeel after such a long time and had so many good memories here. We went on Friday night which was very crowded and had to wait for 10 to 15 minutes to get a table. The atmosphere was very vibrant in terms of energy and the best part was that 90's songs were being played. We have ordered some drinks, chilli cheese garlic bread and Hara Bhara kebab. Hara Bhara kebab was good but chilli cheese garlic bread was equally not good as it was very soggy and the crust was too soft than the required. The service was very quick and we had a good time indeed. The plus point of this place is how budget-friendly it is.

Kandeel is such a warm and vibrant place. The lanterns make it a more lively place. We ordered the Bombil fry , Prawn biryani, Kulfi. With the beers you get complementary peanuts and cheese lings such a nice gesture. The staff her is very friendly and kind. The service is top. We were served by MANOHAR. He's very proactive and his service is excellent. He will time all the orders making sure ur not waiting for a long time for ur orders. Really nice guy. Thank you. The Bombils were made just how we have it af home :)

We visited this place on Sunday night, there was quite a rush, we couldn't get the desired table, so we had to wait for a while. There is a rooftop as well. The ambience was okish, not much efforts were taken on that part. Coming to the food part, we tried their Veg Shashlik Sizzler, which was decent, not as such great. The music was too loud, that two people sitting closer were not able to hear each other properly. Almost felt like a classy bar. Tip: They give complimentary munching with the drinks. Overall a decent place to visit.

The Lantern Bar - Kandeel . Located near Fountain circle , M G road , Fort. Pretty easy to get a table on a Friday night , Street parking available. Food is strictly OK ! Nothing fancy about the place , more of office crowd . They had a live music session that evening. Overall peaceful, but we just had soup and starters and left.. Maybe some other time will try the main course . They do have a rooftop too.

It was a beautiful place with a pretty ambience. Good food. Fast service. Nicely decorated place. A little expensive. It has 3 sections: a family dining, bar and rooftop restaurant. The service was good but the waiters were in a lot of hurry to clear our plates even before we had finished eating our food. We ordered the following: Bharwan Paneer and Spring Roll for starters. Both were tasty. Manchown soup was yummy. Cream of tomato soup could've been thicker. Veg Maratha sabji was a kofta curry with a red gravy. It was tasty but I'd recommend you try others. Butter Garlic Naan was very good. Drinks are available as well. Parking space difficult to get. Seats are mostly full on weekends.

The Lantern Bar at Kandeel Restaurant in Kala Ghoda is such an amazing place with Good Food, Live Music and Beautiful Ambience. This place has 3 floors ground floor has a normal bar, second floor dining seating with live music and third floor is open roof top seating. Ordered : - Pink Lemonade - White Madras - Chicken Sholay Kebab - Cantonese Pepper Chicken - Paneer Lababdar With Kulcha - Oriental Pot Rice - Nutella Brownie Pink Lemonade Cocktail was a gin based cocktail made with bombay sapphire gin with rose syrup and topped with sparkling lemonade and tasted very nice White Madras Cocktail was vodka based cocktail with orange juice and cranberry juice it was a great combination tasted really good Chicken Sholay Kebab was something different it was white chicken tikkas coated in fluffy egg tasted good Cantonese Pepper Chicken is must try here its an asian dish and its really nice served hot piping and was medium spicy in taste Paneer Lababdar was thick and creamy gravy with soft paneer peices tasted so yummy and it went well with Kulcha Chicken Oriental Pot Rice was served sizzling hot it was mildly spicy and had lots of exotic veggies and chicken its a must try here. Nutella Brownie was so hot and yummy topped with hot chocolate sauce brownie lovers must try this. Food was so good. Service was quick. Food was served piping hot. The best thing was the live music it made our evening so memorable we really enjoyed at this place best food with live music was a great experience at this place. Been to Lantern Bar recently. It's a nice restaurant spread over 3 floors (G+2) with ac seating on lower floors and non-ac Rooftop seating. Ample seating space. Lovely food with great Indian and Chinese options. Very reasonable with good service. Nice DJ video on 1st floor seating with a great song collection. All starters were juicy. Recommend Basa Fish Tikka, Chicken Manchurian, Biryani and any of the succulent Kababs and Caramel Custard in desserts Had a great time with family. Would recommend a visit anytime you are in the area.
