The Lallgarh Palace - A Heritage Hotel - Hotel in Bikaner, Beechhwal Rural - Bikaner, India

I booked this hotel last minute and was blown away on arrival. What a fantastic find - historical building, good food, very attentive staff, quiet but central. We felt we were actually staying in a palace that you'd normally be visiting as a tourist. Loved it and would happily stay again.

Lovely heritage property, welcome drink on arrival and very helpful staff. Large rooms, not much do in and around Bikaner but definitely recommended for a long weekend stay. Hotel has a pool and basic amenities, garden and swing for kids. Lot of photography from the royal family on display. Museum is well worth a visit on palace grounds. Junagarh fort is also a must see. Hotel Restaurant is decent (not too many options around to eat), lovely chandeliers and prompt service by attentive staff.

This hotel looks very fabulous from outside but inside picture is very different. The rooms are very old, smelly, bedding is stinky. Breakfast is too limited...

Great name but nothing in reality. There's a saying in hindi 'Naam bade darshan chote', apt for this hotel. They don't have proper track of who booked the hotel how many bookings they have nothing. They wasted half an hour of ours to only retrieve our booking. Next the room its vintage but they forgot even vintage things need to be maintained and serviced if it has to be used further. Ac in the room sucks we had to pull out bed very close to the Ac so that we could have a sleep. Complimentary breakfast and dinner both were yuck. 3-4 dishes and even those dint taste anything , small roadside shops offer better taste . Over priced ala carte . Only thing worth is the ambience outside the hotel . There's good greenery . Overall 1/10 . I would suggest not to opt for this hotel to stay . You would find much better properties than this at a lesser price. Really bad experience.

Situated near Junagarh palace and the main market. You will easily get an auto once you move out of hotel complex. Second the hotel is a heritage property which can be felt once you enter the premises. Third, you can gain access to laxmi niwas palace also. The checkin was fast smooth and polite. So all in all its good. Now as far as food is concerned they will make it as you wish spicy non spicy. The food tasted good as it did not invite any digestive problems due to excess oil and spice therefore it can be concluded that quality is good. We ordered ker sangri dal and rotis. It was more than enough for two people. Just on request if the management can install ceiling or side wall fans in reception area. Cooler seems good but side wall fans would make it confortable.

We loved this hotel. It's a beautiful old palace and still feels like one. The room was huge with a separate dressing room. The only thing we didn't like is there is only wifi in the lobby. However the lobby is huge with lots of lovely hallways and sitting areas.

The palace itself is a piece of history and you stay in the history of the palace . The grandeur and the royal living - experience the antiques and the high ceiling giant rooms - each one with a different mood and charm . Sprawling lawns , a museum and the landscaped garden will keep you engaged throughout the day . The only set back is the food which needs to improve in many folds . Services otherwise was good and yes we had a memorable one

Beautiful place to stay with helpful staff. The wonderful gardens and palace itself are the main reason to stay the night. The rooms need a little maintenance but exude a real grandeur. The restaurant works with a buffet and we found it a little less good.
