The Kasturi Hotel & Restaurant - Hotel in Maihar, Udaipur - Satna, India

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, it was a big letdown. The staff exhibited bad behavior not at all courteous enough to listen, the restaurant service was too slow, and the quality of the food didn't match the price. The rooms were unhygienic, with stained bed sheets, making the overall experience far from worth the cost. They also insisted for cash payment as paying online will attract 18% GST for me which does not make any sense. Only good thing would be location of the hotel as you can easily reach temple in 5 mins. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and not just rely on fake reviews but also work on improvement.

This is the worst hotel experience ever. Never ever stay at this hotel. The hotel staff and owner Mr. Anil is very disrespectful and rude, he has no manners to talks. He gave an overpriced room at 2600 Rs, did not give any tax and gst receipt. He forced us to leave the room at 5pm only, started misbehaving with my family. He should be fined for illegal hotel process and giving rooms without proper tax and gst receipt. Stay in a dharmshala but never stay here.

This hotel is the worst place you can choose to stay in maihar. It spoils the city name. The staff and owner Mr. Anil is thr worst person you will ever meet. He gave us an overpriced room for 2600 Rs and forced us to vacate the room at 5pm. Started shouting at us . All the platforms like Agoda and Goibibo should remove him. This hotel is shady . Also he did not give any tax receipts with gst on it. Authorities should look into it. Mind my words if you do not want to get yelled don't ever Stat here.

This hotel is a fraud. The receptionist staff and hotel owner Mr. Anil Agarwal is an Ill mannered, Ill tempered person, he disrespect guests and shouts at them. He does not give any legit tax receipt with GST. The government authorities should take action on him. He forced us to vacate the room earlier than expected and started shouting at me and my family. Such a bad experience. His hospitality should be reported to consumer court and he does tax frauds without giving bill with GST number. Never stay here, it's waste of money, far better hotels out there.

We were told that the room is a premium room but it was not at all good. There were cockroaches in the room and the room also wasn't a painted room as well. Cost wise also it was very high. Service was not very good and after several reminders they provided breakfast, and other amenities like room spray, spray for insects, towel and soap. Only location is fine. Please do not consider this as an option.

Kasturi hotel stay is ok for a night or if you planing to only sleep and prepare for visit of Maiyyar devi. Food is good. Room service was as good as expected from a mediocre hotel. Room size are small, a small window and washroom. Somethings were not working properly but that not bothered us much for short stay. Overall ok to good

. The team is very warm, friendly and accommodating. I felt very welcome indeed. The rooms are huge and I love all the natural light which poured in from the large windows. The bed is so comfortable and the linen is fresh and crisp. The beach is right near the doorstep and I love the easy access from my room. The food is good and I love the big portions. They also have great activities such as canoeing, exploring the wetlands, watching fireflies and turtles laying eggs in nearby beaches. The days seemed to whisk past so fast and I find myself making promises to return soon.

We had lunch here, the food was delicious and prepared with so much love. Kadahi Paneer here was one of the best veg I ever had, you must try.
