The Kanatal Arbour - Best Hotel & Resort in Kanatal - Resort hotel in Chamba, Sakalana Range - Tehri Garhwal, India

It was lovely waking up to the birds. Kanatal is known for its birds and the open space in The Kanatal Arbour makes it perfect for some nice bird photography. Decent rooms with service, car comes to the property and it has its own parking which was big plus considering we were traveling with our old parents. Food wasn't bad either. Over all good

My husband and kids wanted to check a new place near dehradun. Surprisingly we weren't aware of Kanatal. We hit a sweet spot with Kanatal Arbour. Reasonable rooms, garden, swings, kids play area... Everything seemed perfect. We would like to come again.

The service of this property was unfortunately unforgettable for me, be it there staff (so misbehaved cheap people except one or two), or be it their so called welcome drink which came in room at 11 pm in night (tea, which was just a mix of all ingredients and forgot to be boiled on stove), however the thing which appealed me to select this property was only location so i gave one star only for the location where this is built, rest everything is unbelievably pathetic. So i will never suggest anyone to go with this property. We have not left the property without intimation, just ask from your reception manager , i told them in morning that within half an hour we will be leaving from here so plz do check out process as we needed to rush early, and i requested them if there is possibility to arrange small breakfast then it would be great . And as per your booking person who booked this room you should ask from her about my booking days and the price which is all set by her.

We had a good time at The Kanatal Arbour. It's made our experience good in Kanatal. Close to adventure and restaurants, bonfire area was fun for our entire team. Food was good, rooms are basic but clean.

Our family and kids enjoyed our holdiay at this beautiful property in Kanatal. Though its not like a conventional hotel when it comes to rooms quality but it will exceed your expectations interms of feel of the place, view of the mountains, solitude, service quality, food quality and friendliness of the resort staff. They also have games (Turnball, Tanis, kids Basketball, Swings, Bonefire, Chess, Music and a few more) for kids to keep them occupied and they adult swings make feel nice for adults as well. You can also take peaceful walks to the phaadi village near the resort itself. Property owner also live in the resort itself most of the times and they try to ensure your stay is comfortable and memorable one. Though market is far from Kanatal but they arranged the cake for us even late in the evening. My advise is that you must carry warm cloths anytime you visit throughout the year. We would love to visit this hotel in Kanatal once again in the future to cover more sightseeing that we could not do this time.

Please do not go if you expect a proper hotel. Rooms are really below par. They are made of plastic with ample gaps in door for air and pests to come in! We took two family rooms with a common balcony. Due to plastic walls, any noise, even whispers, pass from one room to another! Cold water is not available a lot of time. This is a badly overpriced camp site. Only good thing about the place is food. Service staff are nice but untrained in basics. Overall a very bad experience.

One of the most spacious and beautiful resort in kanaral especially if you are travelling to an offbeat location to enjoy in a group. Service and staff are excellent too.

Not a 5 star property, as the owners had told us before. Basic rooms with all basic facilities like kettle, blankets, balcony, cupboards and inter comm. they have garden, swings, children's play area, open space, good views. Staff was good, they provided us service inspite of arriving very late. Onsite parking is a plus. It was good 2 hour getaway from Dehradun.
