The Indian Food Story - Restaurant in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

Update in may 2023: They have relocated the restaurant near A2B Sarjapur road( opposite to Levine hospital). We went to the place but the location isn't great, and it was too loud as compared to the earlier restaurant. It looks like the focus is online orders only now and the atmosphere isn't as good as the last location. We visited the Indian food story for dinner in March 2023. The restaurant is located in Bellandur, near Village Super market. They have a good variety of North Indian food options like kulchas, parathas, mutton Rogan ghost, butter chicken etc. We tried masala soya chaap with lacha paratha, paneer kulchas with chole ,lassi and butter milk and all dishes were great. The service also was quite quick. Outside seating is available but can get dusty due to the construction work happening opposite to the restaurant.

I and my friend tried out this place for our dinner after coming back from movie. It was around 10 and many shops had started closing down. Then we found this small restaurant with minimal interiors serving North Indian Food. We ordered Masala Papad, Paneer Butter Masala and breads. Service was quick and onion salad was served complimentary. We didn't like the Masala Papad but curry was fine where paneer pieces were nicely soft. Breads were cooked very well.

Finally a destination for your north Indian taste buds!! Awesome delicacies be it tandoor items, be it biryani or be it Punjabi Pindi chole and rajma. Loved their gesture of welcome discount. First in lifetime would have tried the same place for my lunch and dinner! My wife and son loved it too!!

Newly opened, very nice ambiance and very tasty food. Tried their kalmi kebab , butter garlic nan,biryani, chicken curry and few items . All the food is balanced in taste and very tasty

Taste is good. I tasted all three veg biryani with them. All are good. Vegetable biryani is very dry, we have to separately mention about the gravy part. Ambience is good. Tables, plates and organising is also good. Overall good to go. No complaint till now, been there 3times. If you are going alone look for biryani vs biryanibowl, quantity and price are diff.

Order chole with paneer kulche . Taste was good portion size could had been better . Kulche is like regular stuffed paneer paratha cooked in tandoor and not the authentic Amritsari kulche . And same goes with chole. Packaging was good . Took some time to prepare the food but I think that is fine . They can probably increase the size of kulche that would be good.

Liked the taste of Biryani, not so oily so that's the plus point. Ghee roast chicken disappointed us , it didn't taste authentic at all not even look wise, need to work on this dish.

This is newly opened food joint in the locality. Although their food has authentic north Indian taste. This place has nice ambience.
