The Hosteller Shimla - Backpacker Hostel in Shimla - Shimla, India

The place is very nice and cozy. The staff welcomed me well. The behaviour of the staff is top notch. The food they provide in the cafeteria is of healthy and good quality. They take a little time to serve food as they are making it fresh. The location is good but I have to walk a little. But if you are trekking enthusiastic, you will love it. The place is clean and cleanliness is a priority there.

The place is so far up that you have to walk for half an hour up hill. No one helps with the luggage. All this is not mentioned in the description. So if you have heavy luggage, don't book this place. Also, some of the dorm rooms have a stone wall and sewage water for view right outside the window. Food is decent. Place is clean. The staff is helpful otherwise. Good for short stays with less luggage.

A great place to hang out around like-minded people. The rooms were clean. The receptionist, Adhiraj was very welcoming and sweet and helped us to break the ice with the travelers with the same vibes. The cafe food was great as well with proper hygiene maintained. Just the prices of the food were exorbitant forcing me to deduct a star from the ratings. Overall, everyone radiated good energy, so worth it experience. I highly doubt anyone will regret their stay there if they come to Shimla.

I stayed here for one day and one night, the staff is extremely kind and helpful. The rooms are excellent, all sorts of comforts are taken care of. The washrooms are pristine and equipped with everything you would need. My only qualm is that one has to climb too many stairs to get to it, but I guess I cannot complain about that while visiting a hill station.

During my solo travels, I had an amazing experience. Choosing this place was the right decision--kudos to Sunny and Ashish for being exceptional hosts, and a big shoutout to Rana for serving delicious food! From accommodation to service, everything was spot on. Highly recommend this property to fellow solo travelers!

The Room and services were decent. Some problems that we faced includes - the steep slope and stairs that has to be climbed to reach the hosteller , the washroom although clean were stinking , the food of the cafe didn't suit me well. But the staff and management were very helpful and cordial. They did every effort to make our stay comfortable.

Beautiful hostel located aside from the hustle bustle of the city. Good people to vibe with. Adhiraj manages the property really well and is a good guy to hang out with. The terrace is really well maintained and a peaceful spot to relax and unwind. Food is little expensive though otherwise amazing experience!!

The stay was pretty decent. The staff was co-operative from the beginning...helped me in finding the location at 11:30 in the night...the place was very well maintained and cleaned. It was equipped with good books and games. The rooms were pretty good. The bathroom was fully functional and I had a good hot shower as well. The beds were pretty good as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Best for people travelling solo, who just need a place to crash.
