The Hosteller Jaipur - Backpacker Hostel in Jaipur - Jaipur, India

The reason this is 5 stars - the staff!!! So wonderful and helpful with everything- from tours to taxis to pick ups etc. Room was clean and adequate. This place was the best bathroom we'd had in a hostel in India! It was a shame that the water never got fully hot but honestly everything else was great so can't complain. Cafe could do with a spruce up but location was perfect.

I stayed in a dorm room. To begin with it's got a clean washroom! That's pretty rare in other hostels that I have stayed in. We were welcomed by friendly staffs. It's got a comfortable place to work at the rooftop and this is where the cafeteria is. We were hosted by Mr Amit who took pleasure in his service. I probably had one of the best teas I have ever tasted. Food was quick and delicious! Thank you :)

Really amazing place to stay with friends or solo. Amazing cafe & restaurant here as well. 5 star rating from my end for both person at the reception. Great and entertaining experience.

EDIT: In the response to this review, The Hosteller claims they tried to get in touch with me, but in fact they did not. Even though I left my name, phone number, and email with the hostel manager. The hostel did NOT offer an alternative. This response message from Hosteller is generic and inaccurate. Copy paste. Might be a nice place for a cheap bunk, but the private room was terrible and a bit dirty. Location was good, but nothing else. Rooftop cafe was run down, downstairs lobby was just dirty seating on the floor. Wifi was difficult to access. Drinking water in the hallways was not sealed, but covered with a paper cup, not very hygienic and questionable. Room was not as advertised, balcony was surrounded by loud AC equipment, hot water was broken, shower was crammed so close to the toilet that the whole bathroom floor got wet. Not much of a good vibe or comfortable place to hang out to get to know other travelers. Excellent photos, marketing, and travel blog on the website; but this place is not as classy as it looks on the cover. It may have been cool once, but it just feels uncomfortable at this time. No ambiance. For a private room, you can get way more for your money in Jaipur.

Absolutely loved this place! The staff were friendly and super helpful throughout the entire stay and the rooms were clean. Their rooftop cafe was good. The food was fantastic, plus they had other multiple dining options nearby. Perfect for backpackers, travelers and even work trips. They also offer affordable bike/scooter rentals. Highly recommended! Overall, a great experience. I'm definitely visiting again when I come to Jaipur.

The Hosteller Jaipur is quite close to the Railway metro station and of course the Jaipur Junction railway station. It's an affordable hostel. It's a good place to meet fellow backpackers. The rooms are kept clean. If you're in a dorm room, you can forget about sleeping silently because people are coming in and out ever do often but that's why it's a dorm room. You have either 6 or 8 people in bunk beds maximum. The rooftop cafe and hangout area is a great place to chill or do your online work. The internet speed is very good. They also have private rooms available. There are two drawers under each bed with lock attachment thing where you can place your own lock on it to safeguard your belongings. I recommend The Hosteller very well.

The property is just amazing. Every time we stayed we enjoyed a lot. The staff is friendly and cooperative. The interior of the rooms and the dorms is aesthetic and the overall property is well kept and cleaned. But the reason of writing this review is to request you to update the pictures that were uploaded on the site as the property is already renovated. It is really not impressive to expect something and to get something.

Very nice and comfortable hostel. Everyone working here were extra helpful and accommodating to our needs. We were a big group and we could arrive earlier than the check in time and stay in the common areas until the room was ready. Our room was very comfortable, clean and with AC. Although there was only 1 bathroom for an 8-bed dorm, we could use the common bathrooms in the first floor. The cafeteria has a small but tasty menu, one night we also got the rajasthani food cooked by them and it was delicious. Very recommended place to stay for young travelers!
