The Honeycomb - Home Stay in Aravenu - The Nilgiris, India

Calm and serene place. Spacious. 4 rooms - all in the ground floor. Can easily accommodate 10 people as there is plenty of living room space in the first floor. Fantastic hosts. The honeycomb is the best place to rejuvenate for a weekend from the hustle and bustle of your hectic work life.

I went with my family for vacation and best part of the trip was our stay at honeycomb. The place is beautiful, well maintained and it has all you need for vacation. Since we visited during season time, ooty was very crowded hence i am glad this place was so amazing to make our vacation successful as best part of it was spending time with family at this beautiful place. Manju was very helpful throughout the stay. I would recommend people to book a bbq for dinner as it was a very nice experience for us. Food throughout the stay provided for breakfast was very very tasty. Manju was cooperative and packed our breakfast on our request as we had to leave early for toy train ride. Overall it was a fantastic place and one should definitely book this place for vacation purpose.

We had a great experience and an amazing stay. The host took care of us really well. They helped organize memorable hikes, organized meals with a variety of Punjabi and South Indian food. The food was reasonably priced and affordable. I cant wait to take my grandchildren from the US there for the summer holidays. We plan to spend 4 to 5 days there as it is fun and spacious for kids. Looking forward to my next trip!

A perfect example of a Nilgiris getaway The Honeycomb is a beautiful place surrounded by tea estates. The property provides great weekend experience for friends/ families with ample outdoor space nestled into the nature. The place is very well maintained serves amazing home cooked food. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Owner Nitya who gave us a tour of the property. Staff was extremely friendly. The home is a beautifully designed 4BHK with a seamless outdoor and indoor experience (has a small garden by the dining area). Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience. Additionally, Pico the dogo drops by every morning to say hi (Extremely friendly and loves to play fetch) I would highly recommend this property and would certainly visit the place again.

We spent a memorable 3 nights here towards the end of March. What stands out for us is the warmth and friendliness of the hosts, Manju and Uday. Manju's careful attention to detail - given that one of my sons has some food allergies and had many dos and donts - was exemplary. Tasty, sumptuous home cooked meals - a standout. The hosts went out of their way to lend us assistance and support when my son locked his only car key in the boot of the car! A heartfelt thank you to you both! We were a group of 4 and had the whole villa to ourselves. Several interesting artefacts and samples of Manju's own artwork in the villa, a well kept kitchen with required utensils and cutlery; efficient housekeeping; variegated, colourful plants and flowers in the garden; innovative and environment friendly use of plant holders - all these add to the sense of beauty and comfort. And lastly, can we forget the adorable, friendly as can be Pico with his lustrous black fur? He added the extra dollops of love :) Will strongly recommend a stay here. Thanks Manju and Uday!

We had the occasion to spend four unforgettable days at The Honeycomb in mid December 2022. The house reminds you of the English cottages of yore and is thoughtfully designed and tastefully decorated by the hosts. It provides all the modern amenities one would wish for. The location is perfect what with panoramic valley views and ascending tea gardens and a gurgling brook just across the meandering road. Tranquillity and a quaint charm informs the whole space. Tucked away yet on an easy approach, there could hardly be a better place for the discerning traveller. The food was amazingly homely and painstakingly prepared by the loving hosts, to our taste. It is no exaggeration to note that the oft repeated cliche of a home away from home really comes alive at the Honeycomb.The hosts, Manju and Uday are exceptional human beings with kindness in their hearts and genuine love and warmth for their visitors. If there were an award for the best of hosts in the Nilgiris, they both would easily claim it! I cannot forget the tasty chicken curry that Uday prepared and packed for me, as we were leaving, a touching gesture of love. We, as a family had such a wonderful and fun time at the Honeycomb,making it almost difficult to leave. Our sincere gratitude and loads of love to both of them for making it happen.

The honeycomb is a great place for the vacation in Ooty. The ambience is really good to spend time with friends or family. Manju our host was providing a really good service and arranged food based on our custom requirements. I really recommend this place if you are looking for a good vacation.

The homestay is clean and silent. A nice play for workation and family/friends vacation. Home cooked food were delicious and Manju was so kind. They have good wifi facility and some indoor games.
