The Highgarden Hotel - Hotel in Coonoor - The Nilgiris, India

Highgarden made our stay very comfortable. The room was very spacious and clean with 24/7 hot water. The staff were courteous, polite and always wore a smile on their face. Since we stayed during season time. Parking was an issue. But somehow found a place to park every night. The food was decent. Overall. I would definitely stay there again and recommend everyone to try this place.

We had two musical concerts over here. The ambience was great. The German band was very happy to stay here. They enjoyed the food very much. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Orchestra 181 consisting of 37 musicians had a great stay. Great food. Comfortable rooms. The staff all around were so courteous and friendly. Wonderful job Nikhil and team.

Mr Deena and Mr Prabhu made the stay of our guests from Kerala very comfortable. We had taken up deluxe and suit rooms, the check in process was smooth. They ensured that every detail relating to the stay was taken care of, and both Mr Prabhu and Mr Deena were available on call for resolution. Food was good, rooms were neat and clean with all the required amenities.

A very hospitable atmosphere with friendly staffs, clean rooms and excellent customer service. The buffet breakfast and dinner was very tasty and a decent range of dishes to choose from. Special mention to their Banana cake, cheese omelet, Guava juice and Goan omelet gravy. Special mention to the staff in front desk, their Manager, and Mr.Riaz. couldn't remember the other names We stayed there for 5 nights along with my colleagues in 6 other rooms and it was a memorable stay.. Had an enjoyable stay for two nights. Location of hotel is good. Staff was courteous. Rooms are spacious and clean with fresh bed linen. Bathroom was large and clean and had 24 hour running water. Food was good and room service was quick. Great value for money. Definitely worth a second stay.

Stayed with family for two days. Enjoyed the stay. Amazing Hospitality, well maintained property. Rooms are neat and clean. Enjoyed the delicious street food festival. Dinner was homely. Have ample space for car parking. Overall wow holiday feel. Thank you Hotel High Garden Team.

Not a great experience. We booked the sunflower suite room which was the highest class they offered. It was a disappointment right from the beginning. The room was dark with absolutely no view of anything. It was old as well. The positive things were cleanliness and room size. Dinner was included in our booking as well. To our bad luck, we found an insect in the soup. We expected them to remove the soup because it was unhealthy but they just disposed our soup bowl and offered us another bowl from the same soup container. We politely refused. Gave one additional star for the friendliness of the staff. They were really helpful and polite throughout our stay.

This was our first time in Coonoor. We had booked this place and I think we reached there in the evening. We had a very warm welcome with a welcome drink which was nimbu Paani. We loved the service and how they treat their customers. We were briefed about the activities and places where we could visit in Coonoor by Venissa who was at the reception. She also helped us get a table at the famous culinarium restaurant in Coonoor. The other staff as well were really amicable and took us for some activities like fishing that they organise. The food is also amazing here. They have two restaurants one a pub and one a family restaurant. We did visit both and loved the food. The rooms are cozy and nice as well, but the only draw back is they don't have room heaters. We will have to pay extra per night for the heaters. The owner is a very friendly person as well. He owns a restaurant/mess at the town where the food is so damn amazing. Over all a wonderful experience. Will definitely visit again. Thank you Venissa and team!
