The Hangout Siolim - Restaurant in Siolim - North Goa, India

Touching the main road towards vagator is The Hangout Siolim. We dropped by at around 4 pm for snacks. Everything we ordered was served fresh. The manchow soup was soothing for our sore throats and the mixed veg pakoras were one of the best I've had in Goa. The batter of the fritters had spices that made the dish delightful along with the flavourful green chutney. The lady running the place is extremely warm and hospitable.

Oh what a lovely find we had. While coming back from Siolim church we saw this tiny hangout tucked one side of the road with such pretty pink bougainvillea in the backdrop. The owner madam who runs the place is absolutely awesome. She helped us to choose from the menu. We ordered few Goan cuisines and those were all tasted awesome. The indie kid who stays there is such a sweet soul. Overall the food was amazing, ambience Is something which appeals you to spend a quality time with your BAE. Note : Seaview is not there as. The place is closed on Tuesdays. If you are in North Goa please do visit this amazing eatery

Small family run place with 70s theme and 80s decor. Overall has 7-8 tables. Clean and well managed. The average rating was mainly for the food. While everything was fresh and hygienic, it wasn't really very tasty. Yes, one may say taste is subjective but somehow none of the dishes left a lasting taste in your mouth. The pasta was loaded with grated processed cheese and the sauce had no depth of the flavours. The Chilli Pork missed the flavours a pork dish is associated with. Overall the place is good, but I expected tastier food.

Tina and this place is magic. It was recommended to us by our hosts- a stone's throw away at Ocean Breeze. We showed up there hoping to get away from the chaos and bustle of the beach side roads and markets, and we got that and more. Tina welcomed us her with her beautiful smile, and talked us through the food options taking into consideration our requests for trying the local cuisines in all its variety, pork-meats, fish, desserts & drinks. Not only did she talk us through the dishes, she talked about how it is done at the restaurant and homes in Goa - which was truly special. We have benefitted from this beyond just eating there, as goan cuisine has come into our home too now. During our few days in the area, she was our friend and guide and truly felt -this is one of the rare places, where something unique is being experienced. As for the place, it is exciting in itself, with many of Tina & her husband's interests dotting the walls. We won't forget this place, and the warmth that Tina showed us.

After lot of searches and misses we found this Authentic Goan Restaurant. Food was fantastic and tastes like Goan food what you find in South Goa and like the same ones we had couple of years ago. Now a days in Goa you will find lot of Punjabi, seafood, Veg or Non Veg restaurants. But to find something Like Hangouts it's very difficult. Only a few, which you can count with Fingers are left, of these HANGOUTS is one such place. Love the food, spread of Beer Brands and cocktails and warmth of the service by Passionate Couple. Enjoyed a wonderful meal at The Hangout. The welcome was warm and the food was tasty - quite a variety to choose from too. The gentleman who runs the place was very attentive and I must say that the brownie for dessert was delicious. Overall, a wonderful evening spent at this warm and ambient bar and restaurant - good value and a wholesome atmosphere. Thank you.

This place is definitely one of the highlights from my recent Goa trip. Was randomly exploring the streets and decided to try out this place. Best decision ever. Good food at a reasonable price, good ambience and such a sweet host who makes you feel at home. Definitely recommended!
