THE GYPSY SOUL HOSTEL AND CAMP - Hotel in Pushkar - Ajmer, India

Normally i don't write reviews but now i feel like i need to. I will tell te story why some people below me give this hostel a 1 star out of 5. I went to my bed at night and all the beds in my room we're moved. My blanket and matress were stolen because of these people. They also moved my stuff around. At that time the owner came in the room to check if everything was allright and in my opinion he made the hard but right decision to let them leave the hostel. So now they are angry and give a bad review. I really love this hostel! It's an amazing place to chill out and meet some friends.

What a cool place! Sleep in a yurt in the desert, hang out around the bonfire under the stars each night, eat, drink, be merry, listen to sweet classic rock and metal, make friends with the animals (goat, horse, sometimes a dog), the hosts and other guests, hike up the mountainside, walk into town, and don't forget to eat the delicious home cooked meals! Thanks for the awesome stay, see you next time!

"You Cannot Judge a book by Its Cover " Hence proved when we went GYPSY SOUL HOSTEL PUSHKAR . I dont know how this hostel get that much rating , May be Foreigners love that Hostel and rated 5 star because they can high and drink as they want but they did not mention poor sanitation , 2 Toilets shared by 35 people around there . Mr. Anand owner of this hostel has fluctuating behaviour , you cannot guess when he is in good mood . For me its a bad experience at GYPSY SOUL HOSTEL , so before booking just read reviews too , rather than STARS. THANKS !

Anand and Gypsy Soul are an absolute delight to the contrasting busy/touristy, and slightly materialistic aire of the rest of Pushkar! Most of what is cool about Pushkar is the market (which is really cool, don't get me wrong..there's a reason I spent 10 days there)..but a bigger part of the reason I spent a week and a half in Pushkar is because I had such a sweet and peaceful place to relax and sleep. Anand as a person is also super caring, helpful, and real! Being close to nature is a really special and comforting thing to those of us who appreciate the simplicity of raw living and true adventure traveling..so this was a real delight to me. Unfortunately, some people come and disrespect house rules, and then expect to be able to complain. Honestly, Anand creates an atmosphere where people have an opportunity to connect over food, fire, music and sometimes spirits, but he has a special ability to keep things in control by putting his foot down when necessary. Do not take advantage of his kind spirit! His business functions largely on an honors system and fair community-based and person-centered approach. That is so special! So if you are skeptical but curious, go with an open and curious mind..if you have expectations of a finely polished space and don't like the rugged outdoor style of staying in a yurt, or are more frugal and only going there to save money, maybe don't bother and just go somewhere in town so you don't find yourself disappointed and writing complaints :)

Main thing you hv to look for a place is behavior of owner which ia totally can't accepted at anyhow. When base(owner) is weak, how building may make strong Worst experience totally

This place is the best in Pushkar. Anand bhai has been the most amazing host and friend throughout my stay. Thank you Gypsy soul!

Lovely place with a great owner that would help and provide you anything you need with love. Good people, good vibes and good food. Best stay ive had in Pushkar.
