The Great Peepal Tree - Buddhist temple in Mysuru - Mysuru, India

A divine tree located in the campus of University of Mysore. It is very peaceful here. This big giant tree has a white coloured Buddha statue. It's really good to sit and spend some peaceful time here. This is located on the northern end of the campus and has a circular road around the tree.

This place is also identified as " Buddha statue " in University of Mysore. This place is near to PG Mens hostel of University of Mysore. Around his place there are stone benches for sitting. This place is on the way to Architecture department of University of Mysore. People come here for meditation, studying during morning. Overall one of the well known landmark inside the Manasagangothri campus, University of Mysore.

The marble seats around the tree is a great place to sit and watch the numerous migratory birds that take refuge in the tree. However, the place could be given a better upliftment

Peaceful place to sit and meditate. If you are with friends then it's a great place to chitchat. The place is famous for Walk as it is surrounded by lush green trees. Although proper parking place is not available you can park your vehicle in the available place for a short time till you take a walk.
