The Great Indian Dhaba - Restaurant in Mumbai - Mumbai Suburban, India

We had gone to celebrate my wife's bay and it was a good experience. Service is a bit slow even though it was an afternoon and there weren't many patrons it took quite some time to get our order. We ordered Chicken Tandoori which was good. We had also ordered butter chicken which was nice ( Recommended). Rogan josh was too oily and we asked to remove oil from the same, the mutton was not as well cooked as I would have liked. We ordered Fresh lime soda and I liked it (it was a bit less sweet but when I asked them to add some sugar syrup it was perfect).

Today I visited The Great Indian dhaba. It is located in Andheri near oshiwara. This place has very great ambience and the Punjabi dhaba style vibe. They serve north Indian food and also have some beverages. They have very kind and courteous staff, they welcome you very politely and the service is really great. Talking about food, I ordered 1) Ludhiyana murgh tikka Loved the chicken, it was soft and yummy I really loved this starter. 5/5 2) Afghani paneer tikka Paneer was good and sauce was yummy 5/5 3) Butter chicken Wow this is my all time favourite, and they had best butter chicken, you'll should really try! Rating : 5/5 5) Paneer Tikka Masala 5/5 6) Gulab jamun They served 4 hot gulab jamuns Overall I really loved this place. It's awesome for lunch and dinner, really worth the price you pay.

Located in Oshiwara, we tried the Great Indian Dhaba for a weekday lunch. I was in mood for some amazing North Indian cuisine and this was a perfect pick. The first dish we tried here was Narm Dil ke Kebab made from paneer and veggies mixed in spices and fried. They were quite chatpata and i really would recommend these. Next we tried the Pudina Paneer Tikka, it had the proper bhatti smell and tasted amazing. For mains, our server suggested us Kadhai Paneer, which was perfect balanced spicy cooked in tomato gravy with capsicum and onions flavoured in ground spices. The quantity was good enough for 3 people. I would suggest garlic naan along with this sabzi, it goes really well along with it. Nothing is better than Kesar Lassi with North Indian food for lunch. Lassi was perfectly sweet and thick and in good quantity. For desserts, we had the hot gulab jamuns topped with dry fruits. They served 4 jamuns dripping in hot chashni easy to make anybody drool. Overall it was an amazing experience along with the hospitality and excellent food.

The Great Indian Dhaba is one of the most amazing restaurant. Beautiful ambience with stunning decor and comfortable seating arrangements. They have in and outdoor seating area available. Quantity and quality is best. Taste is just awesome and worth spending every penny on it. Service staff is helpful and kind. Quick and great hospitality Mr Rashid was great and helped us with the proper and their speciality dishes. We Had: * STARTERS: deg Naram Dil Ke Kebab: Heart shape kebab made up of veggies, potatoes and Paneer. Very crispy and crunchy from out and soft-moist from in. Served with lip smacking chutney. Flavourful and delish. Highly recommended deg Ludhiani Murgh Tikka: Beautifully presented in a smokey pot (Handi) and Tikka was so soft and Flavourful Loved it Highly, Highly Recommended *MAINS: deg Chole Rawalpindi: Mashy chickpeas (chole) in a Flavourful and rich gravy. Very unique and delish from regular chole. If you love to try new dishes would recommend this to you deg Nawabi Chicken: Creamy, buttery and thick gravy made up of cashew, species and cream with boneless chicken. Very flavorful and lil bit very less on sweeter side. *DRINKS: deg Fresh fruit Lassi: Chunks of fresh pineapple within the lassi. Lassi was thick, chilled, creamy and natural which was a plus point that it was not over sweet. Garnished with dry fruits and rose syrup *DESSERT: Ended on sweet note. Had warm and absolutely soft gulab jamun. Had great and amazing food experience. Thank you for hosting us. We had great time and enjoyed a lot. Surely would recommend to all to try once.

This is located in Andheri West. The Ambience is good. Sitting arrangement is comfortable. The Place cosy. We had gone here for dinner. The staff is friendly. We had Ordered a few starters and main course. All the dishes have a authentic taste. The quality of food is good and hygienic. The quantity is also good. A nice place to have dinner and spend time with family and friends. We had a good eating experience. Ambience 5 Food 5 Service 5.

This place will definitely give you the authentic dhaba vibes and will remind you of the times you've stopped at dhabas on your road trips! The great Indian Dhaba serves such yummy North Indian food. We tried the following items: *LASSIS* Great Indian Dhaba lassi: What better way to start the meal than to have the special dhaba lassi. Sweet and tasty and filling! The lassi was great! Fresh fruit lassi: Our favourite lassi topped with fresh fruits. Had a doubt on this combination but it turned out to be so good! *APPETIZERS* Murg kulfi kebab: Definitely the highlight of the night and my favourite. This tangdi kebab was just mind-blowing! The cream was so good and the chicken was so well cooked and the taste was just superb! Ludhiyani murgh tikka: This kebab was marinated in yoghurt and Indian spices. The kebab was really soft and the presentation was amazing. The taste was also great! *MAIN COURSE* Nawabi chicken: A must have main course item. The gravy was just wonderful and the spices were the right amount. This was a rich tomato and butter gravy. The chicken pieces were also very well cooked. The quantity was simply so good! It went very well with the cheese garlic naan as well as the keema naan! The naans also were very well prepared. They were very gracious with the stuffing which was superb. *DESSERT* Gulab Jamun: The gulab jamuns here were literally so soft and every bite was heavenly. Loved it! The ambience including the decor, the chairs and also the tableware were all in the complete dhaba style! The service was also very good! Overall it was a great experience! The Great Indian Dhaba is a must try for everyone to have amazing food with the perfect dhaba experience!

THE GREAT INDIAN DHABA Today we were at this amazing restaurant for lunch serving Maharastrian, Malvani , Mughalai and North Indian cuisine dishes worth craving for! LOCATION - This restaurant is situated at Oshiwara at Andheri west and can be easily located. AMBIENCE- Well the Ambience has a Traditional Indian decor with all the Artistic features and cozy look with dim lights all over and a lot of minute eyecatchy decorations with Live music and comfortable seating indoors as well as outdoors. We totally loved the Ambience. STAFF & SERVICE- The service staff was much kind and courteous and helped us ordering the best dishes of the restaurant. They were attentive as well.The service was prompt. They also made sure for our perfect dining experience. FOOD- No doubt the food is remarkable in taste, quality as well as quantity.Every dish had a distinct flavour, taste and texture and was served hot. We tried and liked many of their dishes mentioned below. OUR ORDERS- BEVERAGES- 1) MASALA CHAAS- A traditional Punjabi Chaas with all the digestive spices in it served traditionally in a Huge Copper glass of chaas.It tasted extremely yummy and refreshing. And was fulfilling and quiet heavy. 2) RED BULL - This energy drink accompanied well with the dishes we ordered. STARTERS- 3) MURGH TIKKA- Well this dish was recommended to us by the staff and we loved it! The perfect marination of spices within juicy soft and tender tandoored chicken chunks and a tinch of lemon juice on it! Yummmm, I still remember the mouthwatering taste of this dish. You cant go home without trying this one for sure . Highly recommended. Every bite of it was delicious! 4) LUDHIYANA MURGH TIKKA - This is also one of their most ordered appetizers which is traditionally served in a copper tandoor potwith fumes coming out. The tandoored chicken was soft , fresh, juicy and tender. A medium spicy dish but worth a try. MAIN COURSE- 5) MURGH TIKKA MASALA WITH BUTTER RUMALI ROTI - The spicy drooling buttery taste of this dish took our heart and tasted more better with the roomali roti. The chicken chunks in it were perfectly cooked and tasted yummy. A dish worth recommending! DESSERTS- 6) KESHAR STUFFED GULAB JAMUN- Cute soft and fluffy gulabjamuns served completely hot in sugar syrup and dry fruits on it was a perfect dessert to end with! Totally loved this dessert overall. In all it was an amazing experience. I would suggest one to visit here at least once for treating their tastebuds with their scrumptious dishes and to experience their service. Its a place worth visiting with friends and loved once! After 7 long months in lockdown finally today "The Great Indian Dhaba" restaurant is opned with the hygienic, proper sanitizing, and with the body temperature checking. This restro is pure desi. The serving malvani, mughalai, and north Indian cuisine dishes. Ambiance so beautiful look like a traditional style. Staff was too good. They maintain proper sanitizing and hygienic. We had:- 1. Irani Paneer Tikka 2. Ludhiyana Murg Tikka ( highly recommend starter ) 3. Murg Tikka Masala 4. Cheese Garlic Naan 5. Steam Rice 6. Gulab Jamun This place is superb . I enjoyed alot.
