The place is good as rooms are spacious and they have great scenic view outside.
Huts with AC fitting are available if you want to stay in those luxurious huts. A swimming pool near to the river is also available but it was empty .
I booked room in this hotel for 2 days 21.9.23 and 22.9.23. The rate was fixed at Rs.4200 with break fast and dinner for couple. The room was very small. Not as shown in photos. But the ganga sight was good so myself and my wife decided to adjust. The dinner was served very late around 9 pm. The management said morning break fast will be ready by 8 am. We came out of the room around 8.29 AM and fount to our astonishment everybody was sleeping! Reception, one person, dining area 4 persons. Cooking area no one. Previous day used plates were not cleaned and in the dining area. No response even when we called. We took food outside .We decided to vacate the room. At 9 30 the reception person asked me to pay 4500. I asked him to reduce for not serving .breakfast. He said the breakfast was ready at 5.30 AM! We shouted and paid 4500 and came out. More than the actual rate accepted and without getting breakfast. Worst treatment and place not worth the cost. No one should get deceived by seeing the photos.
Food is not that good, location is great only if you get riverside rooms. A bit unfurnished
Location is nice but service is very poor food needs more improvement and
Staff have more attitudes. Water problems
Rooms and wash room are not clean when we check in hotel. The worst hotel have visted in life
Worst stay. Very poor hospitality. Lots of other options are available at much lower cost
One of the worst hotels in Uttarakhand. Even a dharamshala may have a better service than this hotel. Owner is the most arrogant, non professional, careless person as due to the pilgrimage season, there are more travellers than the hotels. Manager thinks he is managing a free accomodation and lunger to the travellers. Staff is probably most underpaid and none has taught them how to behave with clients, how to serve the food or deliver the needful. Most of the things in so called cottages are in not working conditions. Even to get the towels, we had to beg the manager and the staff till 10 pm. Water heater was absolutely not working in spite of the complaints and do called repairs by the staff. Bedsheets were probably not changed for weeks together. TV was not connected to the cable or dish. In fact we had a feeling of living in a dharmshala with lunger facility rather than living in a hotel. It's very sad of taking the wrongful advantage of the pilgrimage crowd, who need a hotel with not much choice....
Very bad experience we had there , I came to Uttrakhand for 3 week trip , and of that the 3 nights I had there was horrible , rooms were not clean , water drainage in washroom is not working properly , I have never had such bad quality food in my life , even drinking water was not clean . For every problem I was facing they have only one answer stating it's off season time that's why we are facing problem , but I wonder how they manage it even during season time or chat Dham Yatra time . Reception guy was also very arrogant ; the only good part about the hotel is view of holy Bhagirathi river .
Overall it's waste of money to stay there ,
Reception guy is greedy
Just the location is good service is too bad . Rooms might look luxurious but bathrooms have issues n no towels provided. Not worth the rate
One of the best Doctors I have ever met. Young, energetic and knowledgeable doctor. Consulted him before going on my Gaumukh Tapovan trek. He, very well explained the working of body at high altitude and suggested precautions and medicines to be take
One of the best Cafe' in town. Quiet , peaceful and very hygienic. The service was quite expedite and staff very cooperative. Must visit once. Prices are very affordable.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in Uttarakhand, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The hotel's location near the market is a definite highlight. It made exploring the local culture and shopping quite convenient.
