The Great Empire Hotel - Hotel in Chennai - Chennai, India

It was good before, I used to stay here whenever I visit Chennai. But now they are not maintaining it, too much noise coming from the AC, uncleaned bathroom, dust and cockroaches all over the room, bad smell. Worst experience this time. I asked for other room but they didn't provide. Had to cancel my stay and switch to another hotel.

Worthless Behaviour of The Manager in this Hotel. I was stay 4 days but last days during check out he was asking Rs1344/ he said your checkout was over in the morning by 7 am while already i had informed them i will check out by 1pm that time he was agree and when I ask my bill of 4 days , he said I will not give your bill. So my request to every visitor don't stay in this hotel.

Rooms are good but they need to improve bathroom condition & also I feel that tariff is high

It's a hotel located inside another business and appears to have no other entrances, it's located near koyambedu dhanapal parking lot, the one where interstate private pilot buses from redbus apps park, ain't much but it was decent

Good rooms. It's near koyembedu bus stand, so its convenient. Reservations might be necessary cause rooms are mostly always occupied. Hot water is available in the morning (they'll turn on the heater if you want in the evening). The hotel is part of a restaurant, so you can get food from morning(8 am) to night(11 pm). You can call up the restaurant and order food and it will be delivered to your room within 5 mins.

I stayed with my wife. Everything was fine in this hotel. Room facility and service were really good. I stayed for Four days this time before I had stayed for five days. I saw reviews in IBIBO about front office staff which are not good..but their sounds like rude but they were really nice guys and they responded well for all my queries. Though room boys did not know Tamil, they did service in good manner. Rest room was really clean and neat. Restaurant service was an additional feature. Thanks for hotel management and IBIBO...

No ventilation. Room service poor. No hot water in room. This is situated inside a restaurent. Price is high and room quality is not worth for what we paying

Room price is expensive. Customer service very poor. They charge AC room 1400 for one day. Room is average. Poor ventilation. No hot water. Complimentary breakfast available. Water quality very poor. Room is kept clean. You can get a better hotel at the same price.
