The Grand Uddhav - Hotel in New Delhi - Central, India

Rooms were quite big and room service was also good. Rooms as pretty net and clean and best part its location and the parking availability within hotel. Though we did not use but very useful as this is completely market area and no place to park your car. We have stayed 3 day and booked this hotel to visit Delhi. I feel the location of this Hotel or Paharganj area is best of Delhi tourist. Near by metro also quite helpful. One can get easily e-rickshaw in 20/- to metro. Overall great stay. Tourists CAREFUL: I stayed one night in this hotel. I arrived as a tourist in the area and I was shocked by the neighborhood. No chance you can check out on your own. You need to always call a Taxi that pick you up from the hotel. Other than that, the room was only satisfying. There was no warm water steadily, maybe only for 3 min. And then you have to take a shower with cold water. That was not only my problem. 2 other friends of mine were in separate rooms and similar issue. I had no towels and toilettes had no toilette paper (same issue with my friends). I can only warn people to stay at this hotel. At the time of booking I saw this hotel was rated 8 out of 10. However, in my opinion it is definitely no 8 but rather maybe 2. In addition, on the last day after check out we wanted to leave our packages there. They said they will be kept in a locker room with CCTV cameras. However, after 30 minutes check I saw that they are in the lobby areas where everyone can access them with no security. So in general, I do not recommend this hotel at all for Tourists.

I had a good experience and the service was amazing. The rooms were fantastic when I realised it was comfortable, relaxed and outstanding. You can also experience the service when you will visit this paradise.

Excellent hotel... more specifically staffs, starting from security, reception, restaurant, room service- everyone is ready to help & with amazing behaviour... I got very few hotel with such an amazing staffs... further, food is also good & reasonable...

I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say, it was a very disappointing experience. The staff exhibited unprofessional behavior throughout my stay, making me feel unwelcome and undervalued as a guest. Moreover, the basic amenities were severely lacking. There were no tissue papers in the room,when I asked for it, they denied nd said they don't have it.which is a standard expectation for any accommodation. Additionally, the absence of slippers was inconvenient and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay. There are plenty of other options in the area that offer much better service and amenities.

Overall : good value for money and well located. Want to live the full Delhi experience? That's the hotel to go. In the midst of Main Bazaar (authentic and colorful market), you'll live to its rhythm. A nice rooftop (with a place to smoke !) for you to admire the outside organized mess and walking distance from rooftop restaurants that are worth the shot. Staff is available 24/7 , helpful and safety seems to be important considering the number of cameras per floor. Room have no windows but you weirdly do not feel claustrophobic. Bathroom is rustic, but bed is of good quality and clean. I recommand for a 2/3 days visiting stop.

Stayed in Uddhav for 3 days. Rooms were really good. They have a desk to arrange rentals cabs too. Most of the local sightseeing hotels are also near to the hotel. Everything was good except the unprofessional front office staffs. Overall experience was good.
