The Grand Leoney Resort - Hotel in Vagator - North Goa, India

I've been all around the world, but my stay at this home was fantastic. Excellent staff, a lovely setting, and a terrific location. Best receptionist and staff ever, pleasant and excellent first impression of hotel. The hotel was outstanding in every way. We had dinner there, and it was clean, fashionable, and spacious with top-notch service. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, and the service was prompt and professional. The room itself was spacious and comfy. My stay met all of my expectations. I intend to return in the future for a longer stay.

Location is good, it is at a distance of 7 minutes walk to the beach. Swimming Pool Excellent. Service is okay. Housekeeping needs attention in terms of ants removal etc. Restaurant is a huge disappointment. It is overpriced and taste is very poor. But cafes around help tackle food aspect. Overall good stay.

Non compliant and rude staff - We had initially booked 5 rooms with extra beds for 15 people. But since few folks cancelled, we were left with 9. At the time of check in we had informed the receptionist a couple of times to disregard all extra bed requests since we had 5 rooms and just 9 people and also mentioned it to one of the housekeeping staff during our stay, yet we were charged for the 5 extra beds for our stay of 3 nights leading us to pay around 12k extra. The receptionist denied that we had ever mentioned about disregarding the extra beds and the manager was also defending her part of the story. On the day of our checkout, we had extended one room until evening and we requested them to adjust the charges for it against the extra bed charges which was denied too.

The rooms are huge. Can easily accommodate 3 adults. The beds are king size, hence no extra bed will be necessary to accommodate a child. The service is prompt and the staff is very polite. They provide 2 wheelers on a daily rent basis. Located very close to the Vagator Beach. All the other beaches are about 15 to 20 minutes drive away. The restaurant is small. The swimming pool is also small. All and all a good place to stay in if you are on a family vacation.

SCAM ALERT!!! Must have given zero if I had a choice. The manager is rude and is ready to fight every other instance if you try to ask for justification. The strategy is they will get all the money before checking in and then boom you forget about the service and good behaviour from them. Will recommend staying elsewhere if you want good service.

Such a great hotel. Get it for cheap on MakeMyTrip. Don't look at 3 stars. It is such a nice experience. Such a nice pool. Nice service and nice rooms. Felt like a 4 star. It's is just 5 mins walk from Vagator beach.

Electricity goes often here, but the resort is NOT prepared for it. Sometimes 2-3 hours, there is NO power in the room! A very poor management on cleaning, one day they didn't clean the room as we went out in the afternoon. In fact, the person in the reception was arguing! Pool and the ambience are good. Food is a bit expensive and very spicy. Breakfast is reasonably well. A few things could have been arranged nicely, otherwise it was a good stay.

This place is just amazing. We 3 boys visited this place for 4 days and we really enjoyed the stay. Staff is very nice. Pool is the main attraction and it was also good. Overall a good experience
