The Grand Bhagwati - Hotel in Ahmedabad - Ahmadabad, India

Went for lunch. Good taste, though daal can be better. Service is ok , perhaps most of the staff has been with this place for ages so they will have a certain way of service. The only reason I have given 4 is that they don't have any attached hand wash or washroom , and one must walk up to another place to clean hands after or before food. They don't give finger bowl either, instead a wet wipe is given (which is not best thing when you eat Indian food with hands). Overall good experience.

Location is superb on SG highway, i have stayed here a couple of times but was a bit disappointed this time around. I was given room on the 3rd floor, usually i have stayed on 4th floor. The 3rd floor looks very shabby and like a street side 1 star hotel. The room did not have a fridge so i thougt of calling reception but the phone wasnt working. So i had to go down and tell them about it, they then sent a fridge and replaced the phone. This should have been done before i checked inn. 9 out of 10 times house keeping will not pickup the phone, called in room dining and it took 3 hours and 4 calls to get the soiled plates cleared after the lunch. Toileteries were missing and were given after telling them. A decade old LCD tv looks funny for the given price point. Breakfast is good while the spread is limited. Food quality and taste are decent enough no complains on that part.

HOTEL PRIME VILLA Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. it was a great experience, good food and prompt service. The place is quite centrally located and major touristy places are nearby plus the staff was prompt enough to organise a sight seeing too. would recommend for a stay.

One of the best hotels or places in Ahmedabad is The great TGB the top most hotel. I purchased a cake from The grand Bhagwati (TBG) The taste was delicious and fully fresh cake. The behaviour of the staff is superb. Fully heigine restaurant, welcome and thank you person is too cool. I have no words to describe their service. I stand there only for a couple of minutes and i realised sahi jagah par aaya hu maii aaj kch acha hi milega yha par, like andar jaate hi positive feeling agyi thii yaar. Amazing !! You can't go wrong with this hotel. Courteous staff and too good food !! Everything is perfect. Will visit again.

I visited TGB for lunch a few days back. They have very good menu at Cafe Piano for lunch. They serve soups & starters on table , main course & desserts are in buffet. I loved Japanese Hibachi there. In starter, crispy corn was also yum. One must try the meals there once.
