The Grand - Vegetarian restaurant in Puri - Puri, India

The grand is a grand eatery located just opposite to Jagannath Mandir, Puri. Their cuisine is awesome. Wide options (breakfast, snacks, lunch & dinner) air-conditioned, non a/c & terrace seating is available. Mostly crowded. The best part you can have a momentous view of Sri Jagannath Mandir, from their terrace. The prices are bit high yet it's worth for their quality, service & location. One need to climb minimum 45 steps to reach this place.

Good place to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located at stone's throw away from Shri Jagannath Temple, Puri, the restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of a shopping complex called Grand. Both outdoor, covered sitting and indoor sitting arrangement is available. Payment options include credit/debit card and cash. This is located on the left hand side near the temple premises when you are coming on the way from Market square chowk, Basant Road. Landmark is AXIS Bank ATM. Food quality is better than other options available.

The place is close to the Lion Gate, Jagannath Temple and they provide really good vegetarian options. Their open air restaurant extension has a panoramic view of the temple complex which is photogenic in its own right. They have AC as well as non AC sitting places too.

This place gets added to my favorites. Great Ambience. Price is on the lower side, but quantity is HUUUUGEEEEEEE. A paper masala dosa costs Rs70, but it was huge. We were not aware of the size of the dosas, so ordered 1 for each, but one is enough for 2 medium eaters. Fried idly costs Rs75, has 8 pieces. Service was also good.

Well, it's OK. There were 3 types of Thallis. We ordered The Regency Thalli worth 250. It was simply over-priced. We also ordered couple of add-ons like DOHI BAIGANA and CHRISP POTATO. They both were tasty. Hence will keep their prices aside and say, it was great. Hygiene and Ambience was good. Staffs were little dumb and more annoying!! One word, NOT FRIENDLY. Advise - don't go there, just because it's near to the JAGANNATH TEMPLE. There must be some better resturants in Puri when it comes to taste. 2 out of my 3 stars were for the location. It's photo scenic. Can take good photos. Rest 1 star for all adjectives related to food. Take care.

Amazing food at this price and nice ambiance dinning place with a nice view of Lord jagannath temple.. The price of food is mid range to high range but still manageable for middle class families...Important!! no onion garlic is used near temple area in any hotel.

The best veg restaurant near Shree Jagannath temple. You will love the service and cleanliness. Foods are also tasty. You can have your meal in the restaurant's balcony with the view of the grand road and Shree Jagannath temple. There having AC options also.

Best hospitality Best price Best location What else one needs? I have eaten here for more than a decade. Neither the taste has changed, nor the crave for eating more. The most recommended vegetarian restaurant in the town. One has to buy coupons before being served the dish. May it be authentic dosas or north Indian chhole botore or paratha, the taste remains unmatched.
