The Golden Tusk - Resort hotel in Ramnagar, Dhela - Nainital, India

We recently visited the resort with a family. It's an amazing place lot of good activities and amazing food quality. Buffet has a very vast choice of dishes and desserts r to die for. Staff is extremely cooperative and humble. They are trained to be a Yes Man. Rooms are very spacious and good quality. It's a hundred percent recommend resort for families and newly married couple

Enjoyed the room and hospitality of the Hotel. Rooms were neat, spacious with nice interiors done. Food service was excellent with plenty choices. Access to the hotel is very convenient for Business Travellers and family vacations. Thank you THE GOLDEN TUSK team for making our stay wonderful.

We paid 14k per night for a room including all 3 meals. Resort is good but not for this much price. 7-8k per night would have been best. Good: Food, everyday live music, quietness, picturesque, fast service, polite staff. Not so good: Rooms, Bed, bathroom, location.

First of all it is a very beautiful Resort with a great view and good food. We were 3 couples and booked 3 Nature View rooms in the resort for 3 days 2 nights Cons: My problem with the Resort is that there were some or the other issues in each room, like some pungent smell in one room and in the other room's bathroom and in the third room the flush was not working properly. There were a few more minor issues but they were bearable like the mirrors were not clean, power points not working properly, minor issues with the shower and washbasin etc. Pros: The things that I like were the game area and the activities. The pool is also pretty nice. Apart from that there was a Yoga session, Pebble painting completion type of things which was quite intriguing. It was continuously raining during our stay and we were stuck in the resort but still we enjoyed and no one got bored. I would suggest if they can provide a flawless room and service experience then this resort can be one of the best resorts as the pricing is already quite premium. For the customers: Just a suggestion.. while booking do include all meals as the food is good and it will cost you way less. For the Resort: Please include cold beverages in High-tea like lemonade/fresh lime soda, cold coffee etc.

The staff here is extremely polite and well mannered. It was delightful to see welcoming and smiling faces as soon as we entered the hotel. They serve a wide variety in their buffet breakfast and dinner. The location is very serene hence a great place to get some REAL rest...They also organised wide range of activities for children which kept them busy and happy throughout the stay. Special mention to Ms. Santoshi , Ms. Janaki , Mr. Sandeep and Mr. Rajendra... Thank you for making our stay special and comfortable. Looking forward to Visit again

I had the unfortunate experience of staying at this resort, and I must say it was a massive disappointment. While the property itself may seem impressive at first glance, the overall stay was ruined by the oppressive rules imposed by the resort management and their rigid staff. One of the most infuriating aspects was their policy of not allowing guests to take even a morsel of food from the buffet to their rooms, where adults might want to relax and enjoy their meals in privacy. I mean, seriously? Are we not paying enough to deserve a bit of flexibility and freedom during our stay? It's as if they are trying to control every aspect of our lives while we are guests at their property. Moreover, the meal timings they've set are nothing short of a nightmare. They wrap up all meals according to their schedule, without any consideration for guests who might still be in the middle of their meals. It's incredibly disrespectful and shows a complete lack of understanding of basic hospitality principles. Guests are treated like school children on a strict timetable, rather than valued customers who have paid a significant amount for their stay. If you're a young adult looking to have a good time with family and friends, forget about it at this resort. The management and staff seem determined to squash any idea of fun or relaxation. They should be more cooperative and flexible with their customers, considering the amount they charge for their services. I highly advise against staying at this resort. Save your money and go elsewhere, where you can actually enjoy your vacation without being treated like a prisoner by the management and staff. It was a truly disappointing experience, and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone.

The best resort in Jim Corbett. Just make sure you book the all meals package as their food is simply the best you can have for the money you'll be paying. The service is outstanding and the place is a fully functional resort with games pools and everything you need to have a great time.

Absolutely stunning resort! Always prefer to stay here whenever we visit Corbett. Beautiful landscaping, great service and delicious food! This resort is not lacking in any way. You should definitely visit.
