The Golden Retreat - Resort hotel in Haldia - Medinipur East, India

It was very lovely being there. The staff is very humble and rooms are very spacious.I recommend to visit this hotel if u r looking for a better stay.

I would like to write about restaurant staff ..Very humble prompt and dedicated restaurant staff. Every staff member right from morning breakfast time to dinner working hard for customer .they are giving best of best service to customer.I would to inform hotel management about staff best service.Thank you everyone.

We feel bored in home food then we decided to go to this hotel...here is a place we can get tasty food with friendly staff...atmosphere also too

It was good hotel in area but found few things which was not suiting to a luxurious hotel(price wise). I took deluxe room without breakfast costing 4k 1. Bathroom having smoking smell which I said to vent out so person said no exhaust is available and we cannot change room also as all rooms are connected. Pathetic 2. Bathroom have no drain system, all water from bathroom reached room and the also went into gallery 3. Hand towel was dirty 4. Cost of restaurants is way too high, some sabji was even rs900 and the condition of hotel was not like the price 5. Staff service was old people who find difficult in conversing other than bengali 6. TV was not working so person took setup box from another room took around 1hr thereafter tv remote was not working Not worth the money

Stayed for one night on 19th June 2023. The room was full of bed bugs and got severely infected. The quality of the rooms were also not good. The walls were damped. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Most bad experience about the hotel AC and quality of rooms. It does not seem a 3 star category hotel at all. Providing a plastic table on the room. AC is not working properly. Keep me waiting fr around 1hr to change the room and the room was changed the AC is not working properly too. Behaviour of maintenance staff is very bad as if we are staying in free, asked me to compromise with the fan as the AC is not cooling properly. Very bad communication from the reception.

Most Third class biriyani from here. Today 20.10.23 we try biryani but biryani full of salt. That's why thanks to golden retreat for 3rd class biriyani from 3star hotel

Good Rooms, within the nature Awesome food and service Location is very good
