It was a great stay very friendly staff but needs to improve on conditions of bathroom delicious food

Whenever I visit Mussoorie I prefer to stay here as it's the only property has that big lawn with valley view. Staff is courteous and services are excellent.

I was in Golden Palms with my family on 31st January2015. The whole staff, right from reception to the kitchen was wonderful. They catered to all our needs as far as food was concerned. Made us feel at home and were ready to help us in any way. Never had such wonderful service in any other hotel. the view from the room was beautiful, the toiletries were satisfactory, the tea coffee making facility in the room helped us in the cold weather. The internet was good enough. The only drawback was the heating system in the room needs to be improved. Overall a very good stay in this cosy hotel. If possible will try to visit again.

Arrived about 9pm due to delays in flight from Delhi. Receptionist checked us in to a room which was damp with musty odor and quite cold where wires in the wall stuck out instead of lamps. We requested another room however we were told they couldn't give another room. The next day we were exhausted and very ill from the cold. Upon second request we were told to wait until 11am when many guests were leaving the hotel. It was too tiring to keep waiting, so we decided to go out for a while. As we were leaving, we were told upon our return, we can choose from several vacant rooms on the first floor. Upon returning to the hotel,we were told there was a room allocated to us at the top of the stairs - room 207. I was too sick to ask about our conversation earlier where we were told about having the option in choosing the room. Anyways, after having moved to room 207 - which was a good room. That night there was a lot of loud talking adults, children screaming,crying and running past the room. This continued until 2am. Again the second night was exhausting and barely had sleep. The third night it was again the same. At midnight I called down to the reception to request if there was any way to request to the prospective adults of the kids as a courtesy, to not have their children screaming and running past the room at this hour. Mr. Wazeem - the receptionist said," madam they are our guests and they will feel bad if we tell them anything, they may say we have come here for a holiday to enjoy" I said," I understand and realize it is not easy however it is midnight and I just need to rest." Well it continued for another hour and then stopped. The fourth night it was louder and frequent children screaming and running. I was too sick and exhausted at this point This hotel is not for anyone who wants a good night's sleep as the walls are thin and the echos of all voice and noises are heard in the room.

I'd say that it is the best property in Mussouri closest to mall road if travelling with family. They have live music everyday during dinner. Food and variety is good. Services are excellent. Very courteous staff. Washrooms are very small in comparison to they hefty amount you pay. Room size is average too. Recreation room, a big and beautiful garden and loads of rides for keeping your children busy.

The view from the rooms or the garden is beautiful especially on clear nights. Rooms are big enough. Service was a bit of let down. Food was Okay at best nothing special. It's very close to the main market that's a big advantage for people looking to shop a lot.

Overpriced hotel for such poor hospitality, charging triple price plus taxes on mrp goods such as water. Food is good but not worth its cost. Staff is rude, we were given our rooms three hours late than the check in time but we were asked (rudely) at 10 am next morning to go into our rooms to get ready for 11 am checkout, we even complained to the general manager of the hotel about the person but he was clueless or scared of that person. So, overall we had the worst experience of our life. Not recommended at all
