While in Mahabalipuram I visited this place for dinner. Decent food with very good ambience and service. Tried a vegan dish(Chilly tofu) which had good taste. Anyone coming to Mahabalipuram can check this place out for good vegetarian Thai and Indian options.
This was a beautiful place we came across in Mahabalipuram. This place is near the bus stand. We had dinner here and the food was yum. The Ambience is nice with light songs. All the items we ordered here were good and tasty. Service is on point but a longer waiting time as food is prepared after it is ordered.
A little expensive but worth it.
There is parking on the inside.
Do visit
Enjoyed our breakfast here. Amazing selection of food. Puri sabzi, fresh dosa among other things. Staff very friendly and attentive.
Best Hospitality by Jason, Akash, Dipawanti and Kumari at Mamalla Heritage serving breakfast buffet with wonderful smile and warmth. Everything we ate was good.
Nice food. Excellent service. Kumari is really nice and well trained staff. Will visit again
I had a wonderful meal here. The staff was very kind specially our server KUMARI who looked after us really good.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Golden Palate, a restaurant located in Mahabalipuram. I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with my dining experience there. The restaurant offers a warm and inviting ambiance, and the service was excellent from start to finish.
Now, let's talk about the food. I had the Pad Thai noodles, and they were hands down the best I've ever had. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the flavors were balanced, with just the right amount of spice. The paneer makhani was another standout dish, with a rich and creamy tomato-based sauce that complemented the paneer perfectly. The garlic naan and laccha parantha were both fresh and fluffy, and the perfect accompaniment to the flavorful curries.
And last but not least, the chocolate fudge dessert was out of this world. It was the perfect balance of rich chocolate and sweetness, and the presentation was beautiful.
Overall, I would highly recommend The Golden Palate to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable dining experience. The food is top-notch, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is warm and welcoming. I can't wait to visit again and try more of their amazing dishes Kudos to my server Akash for the great service he provided. I recommend any traveler to definitely visit this place.
Amazing South Indian food. After a tiring walk around Mahabalipuram this is the best place to take a break. The ambience is perfect with light music and yumm food. You'll feel refreshed.
