The Glen, Restobar - Restaurant in Mussoorie - Dehradun, India

Every time we go they ask do you have a reservation. If no, then they will not allowed you. Food was good. Ambience was also good. Live music is there. After 8 PM you will not get the seat here. Good place to hangout with friends or family. It is located in Mall Road. I suggest it to everyone.

This was the first expensive place which served tasty dishes. After Rokeby Manor we had very little expectation from big places. We went there on our Anniversary. They had two guys playing songs which was super-cool. The ambience was great. We ordered pineapple-cheese candy , veg platter and chocolate overdose smoothie. And I am so happy to say was not disappointed from any of those. I especially liked the pineapple cheese candy(its not a dessert :P) The smoothies was great too!

When we at the entrance the bouncer was telling a group of people that it's couples only then when we, a family, approached, he enquired if we were gonna drink to which we replied no, then after thinking for a minute he let us in, but then I saw a family with a little kid was already inside, so, not sure what they're trying to achieve. Coming to the ambiance, from our table it was pretty weird, the decor was bad. The other section, where there was live music, was packed so much that you couldn't even see the musicians' faces. The waiter couldn't understand things properly and we had to repeat a lot of stuff, even sent an order back because he brought the wrong item. In terms of taste, the Spaghetti with Arrabbiata and Virgin Mojito were really good and the Veg Spring Rolls were average but the Dal had way too much salt.

It was really difficult for us to get inside the restaurant as it was packed. After a wait of around 1 hour, we got inside the Restobar and found it to be surprisingly small. No wonder why it gets packed quickly. But, if we can skip the waiting and size of the Restobar, then it is a wonderful place with great Live Music and decent food and overpriced Drinks. I would highly recommend you to check the Bill before paying as in our case few items were extra in the same. But the staff was sincere in sorting the issue and it can be an honest mistake when there is such limited space and it is jam packed.

I Visited this Place I guess 5th time in last 24 months. Now it's like my visit to Mussoorie is incomplete without visiting here. Food is delicious and service is good. Restaurant is not that specious that's because people always are in waiting area to get the table. Singers are the best in the town I guess. Good vibes. Dehradun valley view at night is amazing from Balcony. When I visited here second time that was my wife's birthday and when they got to know that, they ordered a cake for us. Must visit.

Best place to chill out especially in the evenings with live music, drinks and food.. The artist who perform are the soul of the hills.. would never miss an evening while in Mussorie.. Even Garrison by Glen is great when it comes to ambience, live music and food.

The food here is amazing, everything we ordered was just too good. This place's food is so good that it can give competition to any restaurant in Delhi. We ordered Pasta, Red Thai curry, Chicken steak and Pan fried chicken noodles, All of the dishes were just amazing. Beautiful ambience, and they also have live music. Its a must try when you are in Mussoorie.

A very cool place for northern indian food lovers. After walking all the way on long road i found it and it was quite good experience here. They were having live music and it was nice. I ordered dal tadka,mix veg ,jeera rice,mojito and butter roti. Food was very good. Quick service and great timings.
