The Getaway - Hotel in Shimla - Shimla, India

We were there in the month of October and had a really great time staying at The Getaway. Located away from the city, the property is serene, relatively new, clean and spacious. The rooms have a great view, overlooking the hills and the valley. Mr. Chirag, the owner, and the staff were very hospitable and friendly. There was ample parking for our car. All in all, we had a very memorable stay and would definitely recommend it.

It was nice experience staying there and the environment was really peaceful. The rooms were clean, spacious and well decorated. The behavior of the staff and property owner was also excellent. And finally "BRUNO" (Owner's pet) made my stay more enjoyable . It is preferable.

We are couple stayed there in two nights. Room and Rest room are very clean. Ambience and balcony scenic feels good. Staff service good and decent. Especially the man Chirag owner of the property is very kind and convey everything in good and polite manner. Love your attitude man.

Pros Big and clean rooms, ventilated. Good natural view. Excellent service. Very cooperative staff. Cons It is far from city about 9km. You should have taxi or personal car available anytime to go to nearest market Limited drinking water complimentary 1L per room

Pros: This hotel has great rooms and great room service. The food prepared here is one of the best I have had, and the view from the rooms is great. Cons: The approach road is in poor condition, and it is far from Shimla city, so there isn't much to do nearby.

The rooms were clean,very comfortable,and the staff was amazing.They went over and beyond to help our stay enjoyable.The services were exceptional as well. This is the best hotel I've ever been privileged enough to stay at. Special thanx to owner of the property (Chirag bhaiya),very humble,kind and helpful. As we came here for our exam and unfortunately our admit card was destroyed due to heavy rain and the hotel staff helped us by providing everything we need even those things also which were not covered in their duties. Cook Dev made delicious food. I was pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future with family and also recommed to my friends and everyone.

I love this place because it is away from the crowded city but at the same time easily accessible to the city. Rooms are good and view is excellent from the rooms it has well maintained bed and wash room. Chef Dev cooks lovely India food and also we have other variety of food available. I have visited once and definitely planning for another visit.
