We got food poisoning from the food. But beside that: Nice restaurant with good Indian food and friendly staff. Prices are okay and you get to sit on the spacious terrace and can enjoy the view of lake fateh sagar. We came during midday, but most likely it's a good spot for sunset as well!
The entrance is not very obvious at the moment, just keep following the signs into the garden and you'll find it.
Downside is that the food took quite some time (we've been there for lunch, maybe it's a little faster in the evening).
This is a vegetarian restaurant. Get there 45 minutes before sunset and sit upstairs on the roof. The lake view is spectacular. It was quiet for us coming early. One thing you might try, they feature a ginger mint coffee. Yum yum.
Excellent view of Fateh Sagar, calm & peaceful place with great view, they serve beer as well. I recommend this place for suttle evening and best is that it's pet friendly.

Located just beside Fateh Sagar Lake, the only 2 corner seating places on the roof of this restaurant provide an amazing view of the lake. Seating arrangement inside is a little more lavish, but the view from the roof is a sight to be seen.
Bhindi Fry, Dal Fry, Mushroom Butter Masala, everything was very tasty. Ginger Pudina Coffee was also nice, should be tried.
Prices are decent for the quality and quantity of food.
Only problem is that they took a lot of time for preparation, almost 1 hr for the food to arrive after the order was given.
Otherwise it is a good restaurant to eat and see the sun set over the lake
Dint like at all. Washrooms extremely dirty. A good property maintained badly. Prices were exactly like a good fine dining but was not worth at all. We went thr coz of the Name French Garden thinking it would be good. Hope they make it better for future.
