The Food Foundry - Restaurant in Navi Mumbai - Thane, India

We went for a lunch on a weekend, not very crowded so got a quick and comfortable seating. Serving was quick and food tasted well with the right portion size. Expansive menu and lot of options to choose from, we did try few options both from veg and non veg, paneer rolls and seekh kebab were amazing and should be a must try. Looking forward to go again for sure.

After watching the movie at Balaji Movieplex, we were searching some place to eat nearby, and we saw this beautiful restaurant.. It was empty so we had our doubts, hence decided to order just one dish to taste. So we ordered the soup first. It was pretty good. Then we ordered paneer chilly and Hummus platter. They were also decent. Overall it was a good experience. It has Nice ambiance and good music and good food..

I went here for dinner with my family. It's situated on a rather narrow busy road but it has valet parking. The veg food was decent but I didn't like non-veg food at all. The portion size seemed too less for the price. We ordered roast lamb and cookerwala kukkad. Even after being told that one item can serve 2-3, we found it barely enough to serve 1. The service was good but a lot of work is needed on the food and the portion sizes.

The menu had very little option, but the waiter mentioned many other dishes that were available. Chicken noodles ordered for the kids was very aptly made without chilies, and the impressive part was that it was loaded with veggies. The soups were ok, tomato shorba was bit oilly. The chicken in the chicken do pyaaza was not good, tasted weird. Naan and tikka butter chicken was great.

We went there for my wife birthday celebration, there decoration was good. We ordered non veg starters they are good taste & an we ordered veg main course the tase is not so good & not so bad . Otherwise overall service and atomsphere was nice.

Went here for a weekend lunch. We choose for buffet which had quite enough options for the price charged (599+5% GST). They have A-la-carte as well. Be it veg or non-veg the prices remain the same for buffet. Decent spread - A drink, a soup, 3 veg starters, 3 non-veg starters, roti, rice, pasta, noodles, 3 veg and 3 non-veg curries and 3-4 variety of desserts. They have a very good spread of salads. Taste - 3.5/5. Paneer for starter tasted very bland and dry. Though the other starters, especially the tikki was good. Pasta tasted good. Curries were good too. Desserts - I liked the caramel custard. Chocolate mudpie was just ok. Kheer was fine too. Ambience- 4/5. The arrangement looked neat. Although the leg space at the row we were seated was so less that it was difficult to slide-in and sit. That leave only edge seat as the comfortable option. They do give out space for birthday parties and get-together. Staffs were polite and cooperative. Drawback with the buffet deal - If you are a vegetarian then your options are reduced to just 3 starters and 3 main course item. Whereas for a non-vegetarian you have access to all 6 atarters and 6 maincourse items for the same price. P.s. They do have valet parking facilities.

I visited The Food Foundry with my friends for dinner. The first thing that we ordered was Classic Fish Finger, and there were only french fries I could see and hardly any fish pieces. The taste was ok but the quantity was very very less. The virgin mojito we ordered was very sour and its taste wasn't changing even after adding sugar syrup. Would highly recommend not ordering this drink ever. Next, we ordered peri peri chicken wings, the chicken was fresh, juicy, and spicy. To be honest this is the only thing I liked here. Then we ordered garlic bread and chili cheese naan bombs. The garlic bread was not good in taste and the naan bombs were pathetic in taste. Never ever order this dish here. Next in order was Paneer Chilly, the taste was not good. It had too much soya sauce which was making it taste bitter. The paneer pieces in it were really small and less in quantity. Next, we ordered pink sauce pasta, and again, the taste was very ok, I have had so many types of pasta but this had the most bland taste ever. Please order this if you like less spicy pasta with more of a white sauce than a red one. At last, it was time for dessert, we went ahead with no risk and ordered a Sizzling chocolate brownie, which turned out to be good.

FIRST of all very aesthetic space. Everything is good about this place, the food, the service, the menu. Highly recommended. Parking available.
