I haven't been here yet though im reviewing about this place . I came to know about this place by my some of my friends who visit Kasol every year due to some business purposes and they always stay at The Flypside Cafe. Their positive experiences and some cozy things about this cafe which I've been told about I've planned for a trip and I'll stay at here only.
The best Cafe is Choj which is just 1-2 km away from Kasol. Recommended for people who want a beautiful view but away from traffic and want to be in peace. People would prefer this as this is the first cafe as we cross the river from the main road and adjacent to Parvati River. We had a very homely stay with nice home made food though not many options. Staff and the host Robin were exceptionally nice, very friendly and welcoming. You will also get to meet Raje a German Shepherd and 3 Husky.
My order had a cockroach in it. I doubt their kitchen hygeine. Staff was extremely rude. The cafe owner acted like he is the king of the world. He was screaming at us to leave once we finished eating because apparently he doesn't like people "intruding" his property.
Pretty sure he was high. I spoke to others who had similar experiences. He didn't seem to like tourists. Do not recommend this place at all. Better quality and cheaper options available just steps away. Also, the rooms and food are highly overpriced compared to other properties with similar view in the same exact area we saw."Nomads cafe" and "Jungle" were located in the same area and had great food, living situation and customer service.
Too much indiscipline among hotel staff. Unprofessional, impolite and inconsiderate to put it mildly. Pathetic experience, and not deemed fit for hosting reputable guests. Humongous mess of a place!
Note for future guests - do not book long stay at this property. One would be surprised to discover the number of better options available within 1km radius. Researching before investing may help.
I spent almost a week staying here with my friends. The place is beautiful overlooking Parvati River. The location is remarkable. The place is quite big to hangout. They have a cosy, Trippy place to chill. The tariff is reasonable and the food is very good. The host and staff is fun and courteous. Thanks for making our stay so good.
To reach our room became adventure to cross the bridge, parvathi valley and the nature, there we met sweetest soul Rabin and his took us to our stay. He had been so kind and friendly.

Fantastic place to stay, sit and relax with nature
Positive: Please understand what this place is about before you expect the world out of it....the hosts are eager to be your friends and always rendering a helping hand to cater to your higher state of consciousness!! They have skills to take you around the area and she you stuff which is off the grid.. absolutely priceless!!! Don't miss the friendly canine RAJE...he is a bundle of energy.. Negative: The walk till the property was rather adventurous and right through the trekking trails!! So think again if you have kids or elders alongside..the guys managing the property are hospitable but lack professionalism or understanding of how to cater to heightened guest needs....but that's pretty much the story across all such properties. The location is off the main bus stand so you are in the midst of a nature Paradiso, but at night it's a bummer to find conveyance....They are selling the rustic surroundings with a bit of basic requirements, which is rather well priced!! Please note they don't have room heaters in the room and it's pretty much staying in a hostel feeling and so no hotel facilities per say....and they serve what they cook...no special orders please!!!.
Robin and Manjeet are the best hosts while you visit their property. All the needs are met with pleasure and happy faces. Truly helpful staff. Chef Sharma is the best when it comes to Indian home style food. Neat, Clean and gourmet food
Best stay one could find in Pulga. The hosts are really sweet, helping and friendly. They even guided us for our itinerary. It was a very homely stay. The hosts took us to the fairy forest for a little hike and bonfire on our last day.
