Pros- most importantly friendly people, large space horizontally, healthy atmosphere, decent male to female member ratio, plenty of space and functioning, well maintained equipment, clean bathrooms, even at peak gym traffic there is no overcrowding or waiting in line to use an equipment or weight, large cooler for drinking water with disposable cups, great valet service so you dont worry about parking, prices are appropriate for the services, adequate space for storing personal belongings, regular energetic aerobic exercise and spin cycle sessions. Regularly informed about on social media, Personal trainers are available for their own separate fees apart from the gym membership. Management shows healthy support to both members and employees. Gym takes active roles promoting and hosting marathons, and fitness competitions. Cons - basement space, poorly ventilated area, air condition use even in summers is sparse or at least non existent in my experience, (only one 6 feet large desert fan is employed to ventilate the entire free weight area) and management will never budge even if you request it, access to aerobics room is closed apart from the scheduled classes. even though gym timings show it is open throughout the day, non-primetime hours like 11 am to 5pm (my preferred time) have unreasonable tight control on electricity use, fan use, or turning on air conditioning (be ready to argue for having a light on, expect a completely different atmosphere at this time in the absence of senior management), no other sessions take place than spin cycle class or aerobic exercises on the regular at this time.
