The Fern Residency, Miramar, Goa - Hotel in Panaji - North Goa, India

Shabby rooms, outdated decor, restaurant inside the property was of no use, very limited food and drinks options. Staff says no to everything for an example of hiring cabs, they don't even have their own travel desk, even for corporate customers they want customers to pay cash to the drivers. The minimum flexibility you would want is to add to the hotel bill and charge it together.

This is a nice hotel, wakable distance to Miramar beach and Goa science center. The staff is very co operative and helful. Mr. Ravi from Restaurant went an extra mile and helped us with dinner eventhough it was a Diwali holiday. The services are very much appreciated. Rooms are nice with daily housing keeping. Room service is very fast. The reception staff is very helpful.

If you are planning to visit Goa and do not find any other stay option, then cancel your trip instead of opting for this hotel. Instead of very small sized room you won't get any other facility. No pool, no bar area, garden. It feels like you are restricted to your room only.

The rooms were good and had ample space. The only con is the service, we booked 2 rooms with my friends and we only got a single room key for both rooms and one fake card to insert into the power slot. I felt this was very stupid and had never seen this anywhere. Also, the bf was okayish.

Let me start with the location. This place is located in a very remote and isolated place. Everything is far away from this place. Meaning, if you want to go somewhere, taxi is needed and it would be very high charges. Service: The only service that I availed from the hotel was a travel desk. I had to visit few places so I hired a hotel taxi. The driver named Mr Rakesh was allotted. During the journey, Mr Rakesh pitched his personal cab service to me. So he gave me his friend's phone number and asked me to not inform or talk about this to hotel. I availed his friend's cab service the next day. When my journey was over, I got dropped at the airport. Everything was fine until this point. I paid the amount to the driver. After I entered into the airport, Mr Rakesh and his friend started calling me. They called me like 20 times in a span of 10 minutes. I assumed somebody has to be dying for such enormous amount of calls. So got to know that driver wanted 800 bucks more since he had to go alone to his house. I denied. Mr Rakesh kept calling for next 6 hours. It was a total harassment. The reason I mentioned about this incident is that, hotel should really think about the loyalty of their employees. They are snatching the customers from hotel. Secondly, I should not have taken his personal service.

Really good staff and rooms where really neet and clean response of staff was also good and we booked it online we got same rooms as it was shown online I would recommend this hotel when I come to goa next time

The room wasn't ready at 4:30 pm even after calling couple of hours ahead. Our room smelled cigarettes and we explicitly requested a nonsmoking room. The solution from front desk was room freshener. We were there for 2 days and they promised to change the room but never did. Our family suffered in the smoke filled room. Parking was a problem during the weekend. The hotel is difficult to locate with Google Maps and we spent more than 30 minutes. Only saving grace for this property was a good breakfast at onsite restaurant. I recommend everyone to avoid this property.

Great Hotel. The food was very delicious. 5 days stay, I tried many things and everything was of the best quality. Will definitely stay again.
