The Fern Ranthambhore Forest Resort, Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan - Featured Reviews (1727)
Staff constantly hover for tips and split the simplest task into as many trips to maximise the opportunity. Ordering room service and drinks = 3 trips. 1 for the drink, 1 for the food and again for the bill. Even if you have a fault with a telephone not working, they wait for a tip. Constantly creates an atmosphere not experienced anywhere else
Great place to stay. Food was amazing. The staffs here are so hospitable that is beyond explanation. The evening programs of music and magic show is amazing! Must visit place with family.
I loved this property. The staff were super friendly & attentive. The room was WOW, beautifully appointed, spacious and the bathroom magnificent. I appreciated the amenities like cricket and badminton, things you don't expect in this price bracket. Every turn and every corner was photo worthy, just stunning. The breakfast menu was wonderful, many choices and it was delicious and generous.
It was very beautiful stay in this hotel. Rooms are very neat & clean , spacious bathroom. Enjoyed cultural programme in evening at hotel. Hotel is with forest theme & same is very beautiful, it makes u feel like stay in nature. Pool area was very nice & kids friendly stay. Staff was very cooperative .
We booked this hotel with utmost excitement in the hopes to get descent service and hospitality but it all came crashing down one by one. We changed 2 rooms, in first the toilet was disgusting, the second one was smelling pathetic. We finally went for dinner and again it was just very poor, loaded in oil with very less variety and thick chapatis and then to top it all off in our room the window blinds fell off and the kettle was dirty and there were no slippers available. Basically not recommended
Nice property at a good location. Property is great for stays with families has good amount of open lawns and open areas for kist to explore. The service manager Upendra is very helpful and staff is super curious. Only thing to be careful of is the monkeys but can't expect anything different when you are so close to a Forrest reserve.
Really enjoyed our visit to this resort. Included as part of a tour package. Great location and a few minutes drive to the tiger park. Unfortunately No tigers during our safaris, bit it is not a guarantee proposition. Lodging was nice and we liked the pool and bar. Dining was included for all meal. Very accommodating with the kids preferences. Overall would use this location again!
Awful experience!! If you are booking the hotel seeing the name Fern, you will be disappointed. Property is very old, and need a sever renovation. Lobby outside our room was not clean, I asked the management to clean the lobby at the time of check-in but the same was not done during our stay of two days. Room are in pathetic condition, beds are in very off size and your legs will be hanging. Bathroom was stinking and sainatory itesm were leaky. Food was tasteless. I saw staff serving to some rooms near to 11:45 yesterday. Today called at 11:15 to order something, they denied the order saying that we close the kitchen at 10:30 PM which was a bit odd. Room service is very slow, I asked the front desk to send towels to my rooms and this took approximately 45 mins. During this time I took 4 follow-ups and asked 3 employees who were roaming here and there. I booked this hotel because of Fern Jodhpur's reputation but turned up into a mistake.
Beautiful property, designed like a fort. It's located near the main road and the approach road is bumpy, but once you get there, it is a wonderful place. Spacious, tasteful rooms and bathrooms with all the required amenities. The staff is very court
One of the best property that we have visited. However, the room service and the food rates are exorbitant and very high compared to any 3 to 4 star standards. The staff is cordial and very co-operative and rooms are wonderful spacious and have a gre
Wonderful resort with well maintained and spacious rooms. Ample space for kids to enjoy. Staff is helpful and cooperative. Good and hygienic food. Overall had an amazing experience. Highly recommended
Very nice place off the crowded main road. The management and staff offer great service in attending to guests needs. The owner is very responsive with communication which is critical for out of town guests from far away locations who may not speak t
Five star to the experience. Prices were reasonable. Not many Safari's were able to spot a tiger but ours did. Also a lot of adventure and fun. Gets a little boring sometimes but then you spot an animal and things get exciting.
I feel original, fresh and peaceful environment with wild animals. I love this place not for only tiger's but also for it's natural beauty and other various things. I also want to declare that "Nadeem sir" our tiger safari guide is also really a grea
We had an amazing time staying here. I stayed with my Australian friends here, they had the best time. The food was amazing, best we had on our whole trip of India. Staff was super friendly. I sure anyone who stays here will have the best time.
