Having had the food at Fatty Bao, Indiranagar. I expected the quality of food to be at par, if not exactly the same. But I was disappointed, as the dishes we ordered weren't that great. The cheesy veg dim sums were really good, but the cucumber avocado sushi was a bummer, so were the other ramen dishes etc. Their lamb Bao was good though. But I must say that the ambience was really good. They just need to focus on the good part a bit.
Loved dining here. We had veg spring rolls which was very good. The baos are absolutely delicious. And the Japanese Cheesecake will definitely make you want to visit again. The service was awesome with smiles from the moment you enter the restaurant. Mr. Shetty went above and beyond his duties to keep customers happy. Definitely worth visiting again
Fatty bao is one of my favourite pan asian places in Bengaluru. They have a quirky interior with Japanese caricatures as well as fun cat doodles. They have a dedicated sushi bar as well as a dedicated dimsum bar. I went there to try sushi and ramen and absolutely loved it. Spicy avocado and cucumber sushi as well as crispy asparagus roll are a must try. Prawn tempura is a delight for the non vegetarians. In ramen, Tantanmen with coconut based broth is a must try, has shredded chicken and well cooked veggies. Chicken gyoza ramen is my favourite try here, a wholesome meal with goodness of broth with succulent chicken gyoza. Also stie fried chicken and spring rolls are some delectable dishes we tried. Soft music is played with decent volume and the staff is very courteous with managers checking on us ensuring a good experience.

Great place for a warm hearty bowl of ramen packed with amazing flavorsome broth. Their Shitake mushroom and Seafood ramen are something you got to try. Prawn Dimsums were delicious. What we also loved was their Whiskey cocktails, from a special ongoing monsoon menu.
The food is certainly above average and the service was prompt. The 2 baos we tried were very nice although I thought they overdid the Mayo part, while the ramen was just above average
Always wanted to go this place...but happen to visit last Friday... Very nice ambience with live music..... Ordered for Starters dancing prawns and teriyaki Bao. Was good.....Had Ramen...was good Prawns was ok.... but their Japanese cheese was really good.....Had a good experience... The staff were very friendly ....Service was good.. Altogether enjoyed.....
Had an amazing experience dining at Fatty Bao, their specially curated Asian menu is a delight with each item being better than the other. I'd definitely recommend the Asian Burrata Salad and the Mushroom Baos! The dessert selection is a treat and I'll definitely be going again. Service was quick and prompt, and the staff even recommended some house specials! The decor was stunning and the music built up the ambiance! The chocolate n mint mousse pyramid is a must have for dessert as a palate cleanser and an end to a superb meal!
