Too much hyped place. Normal food served at double the cost but half the Quantity. Service staff think & act arrogant. Atmosphere is the only solace.. Good attempt to tastefully design the interiors & vintage stuff has been tried to be added to the ambience but does not fit naturally as the overall theme is different..Maybe the designer started out with a theme then got lost & overwhelmed during the process.. Go there if you want to spend few hours chatting with your friends or to spend some cosy moments with your better half Not for food or to value for money.!
Whattey lovely place! Cozy and comfortable and tastefully designed. However - it was too warm. Cooler wasn't that effective. - service was just ok - most of the food was good not great. The hazelnut tart mousse was too good & also the fennel green tea was delicious. A must visit if you are yet to go
Went here to try the cube croissant and I was pleasantly surprised with all the items we ordered For starters we got sweet potato fries and greek salad. We didn't get a lot of mains, we went with sour dough pizza (small slice) and quesadilla. And coming to desserts of course the cube and butter croissant were amazing! We got almond milk creme brulee, hazelnut torte and cafe latte as well which we loved very much. The service was very good, our waiter explained the dishes we were ordering. This might seem on the expensive side, but the quality is justified. Would definitely recommend!
Although the ambience is really beautiful, the food is average. We ordered Boneless Chicken Wings, Mushroom and Chicken Risotto, a slice of Margherita, Peri Peri Fries, Cafe Latte and Apple and Cranberry Tea. We thoroughly enjoyed the beverages and the peri peri fries. The boneless chicken wings tasted good too but the same flavour in chicken wings would've been better. The margherita slice was smaller than the previous time we had visited. And the consistency of the risotto was more watery than how it should've been. The ambience makes the experience worthy. It's a great place to have finger foods, not so much when you'd want to have a meal.
Pros: very Instagram friendly Cons: if you're a table of two, no choice but to sit outside in the sweltering Chennai heat. The coolers are not adequate nor are they efficiently placed. Food was average, although the sweet potato sumac fries were a revelation. Wait staff did not provide any information about what was served. For example, we asked for a pour over coffee but were served something in a chemex, along with some sort of raspberry syrup which was not mentioned in the menu or explained to us when we asked for clarification. I'm happy to pay for expensive coffee but it better be what I ask for! The viral cube croissant looked great. But practically, there was too much cream filling to actually enjoy the dish. Was a disappointing visit overall. We definitely left in a hurry, but only after we had to walk inside and find someone who would take the bill payment.
Great ambiance with good food !! This place is located in kilpauk and hence the cost is little on the higher side but some of their food is worth the money we pay... Especially their pastries!!! I personally fell in love with their cheesecake this is the best one which I have tried in recent times.. If you are a click addict then definitely this place would get your attraction!! Overall, it's a good place to try
Very good and aesthetic interiors. Cafe style dining options. A bit expensive but nice ambience. Menu options are not too varied and food may get boring after a few times, but nice options to try initially.
I took 1 point off food as the restaurant is trying to offer authentic Spanish, Italian and other continental dishes but lacks a full grasp of the balance between the spices and ingredients. We had the BBQ smoked Chicken Pizza, the MeatFeast or a meat lovers Pizza, Prawn Ajillo (pronounced Aahiyo) and ended with an espresso. The food over all was satisfactory bit of hope the Chef would consider a thin crust pizza over a crust dominant pizza. The meat lovers pizza though had a lot of meat on it, the over all taste of the pizza was bland. From the pepperoni to the bacon-and any other form of meat added should compliment and balance each other out. The espresso is really good and among the better ones I've had in Chennai. Starbucks espresso and coffees are pretty pathetic and more desserts drinks and not for those who enjoy and relishagood cup of joe. And to the owners, if you have turtles in your pond, please have a more spacious island for them to rest on. You have 8 turtles and only 2can rest at a time. These are endangered and ancient creatures, if hope you would action this Asap
Loved the ambience. Tried the combo of Rs99 from the Instagram post. Loved it. It was amazing and worth the money. The taste is simply awesome. Must try!
This is a small outlet inside a complex. I visited this place just because of the smell of the tea which pulled me here. They have a variety of tea and coffee options. They also have variations and help us choose from what we want. There are multiple
If you are looking for a quick and tasty snack, you should check out the Cafe 11 Amul stall at Nilgiris super market complex at ECR uthandi. They serve a variety of delicious items, but my favorites are the fried chicken and momos. The fried chicken
This is a fantastic spot for a family meal out. Boffle Cafe at 98 Shivalaya Building on Ethiraj Salai in Chennai is a delightful culinary gem that has captured my heart. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere,
With a comfy vibe and friendly colors, this cafe feels like a cozy retreat. The food is like a tasty adventure, mixing local goodness with skilled cooking. It's a spot where good vibes and delicious bites come together perfectly.
Amazing designer who customise and tailors the pieces so well ! The work she does is completely handmade and the outcome is really perfect. The blouses fit me beautifully and there was no alterations required.
