The location is very near to New Market. Room service is good. Decoration is fine. All historical pictures that I really like it. Only Air Condition of the room is low quality, Old A/C should be change with bigger A/C.

The hotel with 300 yers history. Every corner is a masterpiece.The location is very convenient. Very close to the shops and the Main Street.The amenities are little bit tired and the shower is oldest old. The sheets are grey.The breakfast is tasty and enough of variety.The stuff is helpful and friendly.The comfort stay in Kolkata.

This place has easily become my new favorite restaurant. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything I tasted was amazing. The presentation was also impressive and made each dish even more enticing.

Basically me and my colleague stayed there for 5 days. Initial plan was to stay for two days but then we extend it to total 5. Overall it was a nice experience. The room was well decorated. The receptionist was very humble and nice guy. The room service was decent. However the dining was something that they really need to work on. I would say it was not a good experience with their dinning options. They offer buffet breakfast and mostly it was continental one. The first day was good but after that it was completely mess. On third day they fell short to refill the empty food containers. When you're offering buffet this is a common thing to handle. In fact you should put that on top of your checklist while offering buffet. On the last day, i think they had a reservation for some weeding and they didn't offer buffet. Instead they were taking orders.And they took so long to serve that we had to cancel our orders as we're getting late for our flight. What does that mean, I should not visit your place when you gonna have reservation? Or i will not get the best service during reservation? Come on. We checked in very late, despite of that there were no slippers in the room. There were no foot towels. We had to make a call to get them. But having said that, apart from the dining experience I would love to stay there again. The place is really nice and quiet. The service was really good.

This hotel is at the heart of Kolkata. Wonderful place to stay lavishly. Most importantly this hotel is pet friendly. I stayed there for a conference. Nice large pool to chill out. In this hotel you will get a feel of the heritage of Kolkata. Must visit

Went there to have lunch with family based on my previous visit. However, luck was not with us. So a while after placing the order, we had to learn that there was a fire incident in the kitchen and we couldn't have any food that day. We ordered some beverages as the kids were hungry and became restless by then. That also took longer than expected to arrive. So the overall experience was unexpected that day. The staff were doing their job, but it didn't feel that emphatic that day.
