The Culture Nation Hostel - Backpacker Hostel in Manali - Kullu, India

It is such a beautiful property. We took the queen balcony rooms. And it was splendid. Food was also too good and apt for the cost charged. I hope we have stayed more days as the property is worth spending some days there.

I recently stayed at The Culture Nation Hostel in Old Manali, and I can't say enough about this fantastic place. It truly deserves a five-star rating! The property is set in a prime location, within walking distance of Hidimba Devi Temple and Manu Temple, making it a perfect base to explore the beauty of Manali. The hostel's ambiance is incredibly charming, and the garden and terrace provide a serene environment to relax and unwind. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with a private bathroom, and some even had picturesque garden views from their balconies. The hostel staff's hospitality was outstanding, offering a concierge service to assist guests with all their needs. One of the standout features of this hostel is the delectable dining options. They serve a variety of cuisines, including American, Chinese, and British dishes. The availability of vegetaria and gluten-free options caters to a wide range of dietary preferences. The availability of karaoke and the common lounge area made our evenings incredibly entertaining. All in all, The Culture Nation Hostel Manali exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful and memorable stay in Old Manali. It's no surprise that guests love the good location, as I'm one of them, thoroughly satisfied with my stay!

The best place to stay. Staff was amazing, the rooms were awesome. Vibes at the rooftop cafe are amazing. 5 days i spended here were amazing. Can't describe the peace and beauty in words.

I have been to this hostel in 2021 and came back after almost 2 years only to find that it still holds the same cleanliness, top notch hospitality and food is something that is par excellence. I have been to few other hostels too where they have a dorm system but not as clean and well kept as culture Nation. I have always felt at home being here. Perfectly located and a beautiful property to enjoy your time. Apart from dorms they do have personal rooms as well which is pocket friendly.

The location of the hostel is perfect if you are staying in Old Manali. The prices are cheap compared to other hostels. The rooms are good too. But the major issue is with the staff especially the manager. They least bothered about the guest and instead are busy playing cards and sitting inside the rooms. Had asked for the menu and the manager is like take it from the counter since he was playing cards. Now this is the kind of hospitality they provide.

This is not a hostel. No hostel vibes at all. This place is just like a hotel with rooms. Prices were very affordable (as on 15 Sep 2023). NO PARKING FACILITY. Baldev ji was very helpful. He agreed to extend my check-out time a bit. If you have excess luggage to carry, then this is not a right place as we need to walk for certain distance. Most of the hotels or stays in old manali doesn't have parking. Common area on top floor is toooo boring. There is nothing to play. No music played. However, the view is good. Most of the cafes are near to this hotel. Room no. 1 doesnt have fan. There is dog (pluto) now. So, dog lovers please dont get disappointed. They have free WiFi

I really recommend the Culture Nation Hostel. The rooms were spacious, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The location in old Manali is also perfect. I must also mention that the food is delicious- they make the best Chai we have tried in India. But the most special thing about this hostel are the staff and the vibe they create. Thank you Vishvesh for your advice, support & flexibility throughout our stay. We extended our stay many times because of the weather conditions and stayed here for 11 days. We loved it and hope to be back again one day. Best wishes from England and Argentina.

We had an amazing stay here in manali (so much so that we extended for 5 extra day!) everyone there is super helpful and kind and the location is very convenient. We had a private room with a balcony which was very nice.
