The Croft Resort - Premium Farm Stay - Resort hotel in Sayapuram - Tuticorin, India

Thoughtful and passionately designed and executed farm resort. Quality shines across the property specially room interiors and fittings. The swimming pool felt very special and different. Its design is class. The cottages have a terrace which added a sense of home. Very comfortable for family vacations. Food is also of nice quality but could have been more flavorful. Service is good specially at the restaurant.

Nice setting. For the local area this is very decent. We went on a day trip so I cannot comment on the rooms. Food was tasty. Pool was very good. I guess it's about 20 meters long. Fully covered so no sun burns. The rooms are small cabana type or villa type you can say. Overall we had a good experience.

Overall good stay .. Staffs are good in addressing the needs.. Rooms are neat and clean . Good for couple stay. Having wide farm around the property using by the landlord for own use interesting to see many rare kind of fruits and vegetables in the farm.. receptionist were favourable for localist people stay for extending stay not showing up request for people coming from other districts inside tamilnadu.

Good resort. I went there to attend a family function. Rooms are good, neat with star hotel quality facilities and features. The landscaping is good to relax and roam around with small pond, kids play area, lawn. The location is bit interior, just opposite to Pope engineering college Sawyerpuram, Thoothukudi.. People who wants to move out of City crowd will definitely will like it. From the Thoothukudi airport somewhat nearer.

This was an unbelievably good place in the most unexpected locations. Even though the place is far from Tuticorin city, it made sense to me because I had stuff to do in Tirunelveli, Thiruchendur and Tuticorin. It made sense. Rooms were well kept. Location was quaint & was it was a peaceful stay. The kids loved the pool, game room and activities. Food was good too, breakfast was quite simple and homely. The attitude at the reception could be a bit better with bit more friendliness. Especially when someone is calling to find the location for the first time, the front desk needs to be more patient and helpful.

Captive at Croft! While our expectations around the setting and vibe of the place were completely met, we were quite disappointed with the service and staff. This farm stay is a rustic cottage nestled amidst a beautiful coconut grove and you almost feel like there is no boundary between you and nature. But that is where the bliss ends. The staff is quite weak when it comes to service. And the worst part was the front office staff even fleeced us when we requested them to book a cab to the airport. They charged us an obscene amount for a 15-minute ride to the airport, and didnt even give a fraction of it to the driver who drove us(which we realized much later!) Not the kind of hospitality or service you would expect from a charming farm stay like this. LOCATION: just 15 minutes away from Tuticorin airport, as well a quick ride away from other attractions of the region - including the famed Tiruchendur temple. DINE + DRINK: Nicely decorated restaurant but the Chef was from Bengal - who could neither prepare any Bengali-style food we had requested nor make authentic regional cuisine for dinner. Breakfast was good though. ROOM: We stayed in Room 104, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Sweet view of the gardens and grove from the sitout; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; AIR-CON: A tired Airconditioner, that barely kept the room cool enough; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Very pool quality toiletries, better to bring your own. FACILITIES: No Gym on site, but they have a fantastic swimming pool that is great for a full-on aqua workout! There is also a nice GAME ROOM inside the property packed with a lot of board games, digital consoles, and other items--perfect place to bond with your partner or family. SERVICE: While the staff took care of all our needs with a smile, they have a long way to go when it comes to quality service!! HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high-speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Television in the room comes with Tata Sky digital subscription streaming a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages

Nice room stay and ambience. Restaurant food tastes good. Swimming pool and kids area were neat. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

We had a great one night stay in their suite room. The room was clean and the sunroof bathroom was a great plus! Food was also delicious. We tried mutton noodles for dinner, pongal, poori, vada for breakfast, fish curry, fish fry, chicken 65 for lunch. All the dishes were excellent! Authentic taste made with fresh meat! Things that can be improved: 1) pool was not very clean, there was dust, insects and leaves floating on top. When asked they said they change water once a week, we felt that they can change water more frequently and remove surface impurities. 2) there was no high chair available for our ten month old, so we suggested adding high chair for infants and kids!
