We lost our room key twice and the front desk staff and Kapil and Bobby were very polite and helpful. Three ladies at front (forget their name) treated us with the highest respect and politeness. All together this staff is very hard working and deserves to be recognized
The Name itself The Competent Palace is an amazing hospitality hotel with everything a top notch. Be it food, ambience, friendly helpful nature of the housekeeping staff, Specially Nafees Saifi, Khasthi Bisht, Boby Raj, Amisha. And every single staff who with all hearts make our trip enjoyable and memorable one. Looking forward to more such stay in The Competent Palace :)

I would like to thank specially to Neeraj and Bindiya for helping us with 2 amazing rooms in the last minute and that too within our budget. The hotel is super beautiful, with lip smacking food. We will definitely gonna visit again. :)
I stayed here for two days . We enjoyed the stay and the ambiance of the hotel. The staff were polite and very supportive. The breakfast buffet menu was good. The dinner buffet menu could have some starters
Kitchen services , laundry , house keeping services provided at hotel are very good . I am so satisfied with the quality of work done by Kapil, Varun and Karan along with all house keeping team. Staff members of the hotel are very friendly and they deal with good gestures. I am happy with the experience and guide you that this is the best place to stay if you are in Dehradun, selaqui industrial area.
I wish I could give 0 stars for service!! I had booked the suite in this hotel and when I requested for early check-in, they are charging me for that! When asked if the room is available, then why am u charged, they give some pathetic stupid response saying that they will not give that room to anyone else and when asked if it's booked, they say no. My booking is for tomorrow and if by now there's no booking, then ofcourse I am assuming the room is free!!
