The Coco Leaf - Restaurant in Gokarna - Uttara Kannada, India

Went here for lunch. Food was great and tasty. Crowd was very less in the weekday. The view will be really good in the evening. When we went there, world cup finals was screened here. The prices will be little high. But it's same across all the restaurants near the beach side.

What a delicious food we had at The Coco Leaf. Beautiful restaurant right on the beach and infront of the ocean. Great ambientantion and the owner super nice. We had: -Golden Prawns -Veg Manchurian -Alfredo chicken pasta -Chicken cheese burger with fries -Beers -Milkshakes -Chocolate brownie with ice cream and pineapple. Must try this restaurant. Really recommend it. Thanks for everything

It was a really amazing experience staying over there at cocoa leaf. Staff is friendly and helps the guests in the best way possible. The place is a vibe itself. Exteriors interiors both are well designed. Also the food is delicious. We specially liked parathas, burger pasta , roti sabzi and ginger tea is best whatever you try in food turns good in taste. The Location is perfect just 200 mtrs away from the drop location Most hotels in Gokarna have beach entry so keeping that in mind Coco leaf is the perfect place. We arrived early in the morning by 6.15 and were given an early check-in room by 7 which is fair enough. Rooms are good bathrooms are the cleanest which is the most important part. Just one recommendation we can give is to have an AC facility as it is actually too hot, anyways fans were working quite fast so we managed, you can hear voices and sound through the rooms. Carry your mosquito repellent or suggestions to the hotel to keep a Good Night liquid. Also they can add nets to the windows so that windows can be kept open and also to the opening in the roof they should put nets. Apart from this the service by Raju Bhaiya was just great, staff is polite and very helpful. Even though they mention no help in carrying luggage in terms, we did get some. With just a few improvements Coco Leaf can be one of the best places which it already is to some extent.

We reached The Coco Leaf in not-so-good health, and the team at The coco leaf did everything to ensure we recovered fast. They were helpful in getting the medicines we needed and gave us fresh food for the days we stayed there. The location was easy to find and easier to get to. The view was mesmerizing and one could spend a whole day just gazing at the waves from their deck space. In the evenings, the serene and quiet exteriors transform into a lively and bustling space with tasteful music in the background of the gushing waves. The room we stayed in was a bit humid, but that's primarily because of the coastal nature of the stay. Apart from the occasional little bug friends who visited us in the room, all was good. We had a memorable time here, thanks to Anant!

Came here from Om beach to have lunch. Tried their burger and mojito. Both were good, the fires were a bit salty to my liking but the freshness of the burger, the taste of mojito and the incredible view topped it. Out of a lot places I ate in Gokarna, this place was really one of the best. The tables were a bit dirty (like cigarette remains and stuff) and was cleaned when I sat down. They were doing some construction work when I went for lunch and maybe that's why the place wasn't that clean.

Writing a review for the restaurant. The staff is least bothered with serving customers. We went at 9:30 on a Sunday morning to be told that the cook is still sleeping so we should come back at 10. The food was overpriced and not tasty at all. Again poor service where the staff wasn't interested in taking orders, bringing our bill etc where there was only one more table that was occupied. Why open a cafe that doesn't have interest in serving guests?

I only rated the food. The food was greasy, the products of average quality. The high prices cannot be explained or defended. Simply a rip-off.
