One of the best place to stay in Mahabaleshwar. This colonial heritage property has got its own charm. It has got beautiful garden and flower beds. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The food is great.
This place is a perfect place with a vibe which takes one back to the good old days of being in the British times. The very best place to stay in Mahabaleshwar! It is a well established club with its roots going back to the 1800s. It is centrally located at the crossroads between Mahabaleshwar Market, Wilson Point, Venna Lake, Lodwick Point and thus marks the center of most maps. The club is a members only facility for staying, with large spacious and well maintained rooms sporting a rustic woodwork theme. The dining halls have strict dress codes and rules, with three daily meals served. Lunch and Dinner are four course meals, namely soup, entree, main course and a dessert. And the food is always delicious, well cooked and fresh. Cuisines span Continental, English, Indian and Chinese, and can be either veg or non-veg. Besides the beautiful gardens, outhouses and paved walkways inside the club, there are also many recreational facilities such as Table Tennis, a Gym, Tennis Courts (I think, unsure), and a 9-hole golf course, with a large walking ground and golf practice range for avid golfers and beginners alike. Lastly, the service at the Club is exceptional, with an extremely dedicated round-the-clock staff who try their very best to make your stay the most memorable. Since meal times are mutual, you get to meet the other guests and share cordial conversations with people who are visiting from all over India, but largely from in-state. Staying here is a no-brainer for existing members and a yearning for those who are still to become members. Keep up the great work Club Mahabaleshwar!
it's a members only place but the cost is affordable, really great if you want to spend some time off internet and build a strong bonding with your family , good for stay with friends and is children friendly. Great view. Golf course. great meals. great rooms. absolutely loved it over there.
Amazing place. Heritage place, started in 1881. Beautiful old structures, high ceilings and spacious room with surrounding greenary. Lot of elegance. Well planned rules to maintain the heritage and the old culture. Food menu is fixed for the day. Good quality food and enough quantity but one may not get the variety. One can carry the booze and enjoy. Another great advantage is location. Just walking distance from the market and getting in / out is super easy.
By far the best place to stay in mahabaleshwar. You need to be a member stay here though. Meals are included with the stay. Well kept lawns and a garden for the kids is a bonus. There's a huge polo ground right next to the club to cycle, play football cricket etc.
