The Palace is worth a visit as it offers some great insights in the life and lifestyle of previous and current Maharajas of Jaipur. The place is well maintained and Clean. It offers ample of space not only to stroll inside but also to sit and Relax. I won't recommend a guide when visiting here. There's ample parking space and requires 2-3 hours to peacefully explore this place.
The city palace is worth a visit. The buildings are in much better condition and you can get a better feel of what they would have looked like when they were first built. Restoration projects show a huge difference when the colours are brought back to life

This place is huge. I would definitely recommend visiting, the architecture is so grand and beautiful. Ig some restoration work is also going on. There is a diner inside too, it is absolutely stunning, but it comes with bird problems . The palace has so much to see. There are many places where photography is restricted so beware and don't get yourself a fine please.
You will find Very rich history of Jaipur. It has amazing architecture and the King place is beautiful designed. Arms and ammunition section is having various antique arms and the dress of King and queen of that time.
City palace is one of the best palace i have visited in whole Rajasthan. It is completely maintained by private(king Lineage) and they charge 300-400 rupees for entry. They have used unique marbles to built this particular palace which was used to built Taj Mahal also .
Beautiful architecture, breathtaking infrastructure. You'll need time to explore since it's a big place to explore. Do visit the paintings sections, there are some beautiful painting with such a minute details in a very small canvas. It's a bit costly a whopping Rs300 ticket for an Indian tourist. Jantar mantar and hawa mahal are at a walking distance from here.
It was a really good experience visiting this historical palace of Jaipur. I initially thought the ticket price is a bit high but when I have seen this palace from inside, my doubts were clear. There are 7 types of museums located in this palace and each has a unique view.
