THE CITY BOYS HOSTEL - Boy's Hostel in Indore - Indore, India

I had a horrible experience at this place. Firstly, the stay is not worth the charges. They showed me double sharing place for 8500/- a month which includes food, stay, laundry. It does sound good but the place to stay was really bad. The walls had fungus all over. The mattress were as old as I can imagine and just a thin layer of mat we can say. They gave me a 4 sharing room for 7k and when I paid they took 1000 for maintenance and 1000 more extra for registration but never gave me any receipt. After I made the payment, they almost ghosted me and stopped responding. I joined from 10th Jan and had to leave by 17th Jan coz I couldn't stay there at all. The first two days, there water block in the bathroom. So, the entire room was overflowing with water in the freezing cold weather. I slept there in a pathetic condition. They took extra deposit as well and when it was time to return they denied everything that they discussed and refused to return the money. With a lot of follow ups and calls, they finally gave me at least 3500/- back but it was a very traumatic experience there. If you're thinking of staying there long term, make sure you take the receipt and be ready for such situations and if you still decide to stay you know what you've signed up for!!!

Overall 'Okay'. More in this review. MY ADVICE - PLEASE CLEAR ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS related to 1. Rent, Caution money, Building maintenance cost or any other charges. 2. Hostel agreement/legal agreement or whatever they say. 3. (Very crucial) Duration of staying in the hostel and your right to leave the hostel at any time if not bounded by any other agreement & RETURNING OF CAUTION MONEY AT THE TIME OF LEAVING THE HOSTEL. 4. If or not you get your remaining rent back if you leave the hostel inbetween the month. * Food: . Food was disappointing. Once we were served a 'TWO DAY OLD IDLY'!! -- Now you can think how serious they are about serving you. that is so irresponsible. You will be seeing COST CUTTING in many places. Chai have more of Pani. And some more problems with food. You will be having a induction so that you can cook Maggie and boil water or anything else. * Hygiene: hygiene was poor too. Food plates were HALF WASHED. Mess was not so clean. Hostel's kitchen was dirty too. * Laundry: Once a week. Limited number of cloth can be given. EXTRA CHARGE on extra clothes or sweater. I see my clothe's colour faded very quickly. I ponder how they washed the clothes. * Electricity & Wifi : Electricity is available almost 24 hour. No problem with electricity. But the wifi setup was pretty messed up. Internal speed was dying as we go to upper floor. So experienced poor internet speed. * Rooms: Rooms are fine for me. Pretty enough light, a table and enough space. No Blanket, bedsheet and pillow provided. * Bathroom: Okay. Hot water 24/7. * Staff Behaviour: No problem with staff Behaviour, as there is very less to talk about with your House owner.

Best facilities , Best Manager , Best Crowd . Best place as the environment is very healthy for studies and growth .

Great space with a nice outdoor terrace. The room is very clean and spacious. Nice atmosphere for students location is also good the hostel definitely creates a great example for others.

Don't go there I would prefer Mayadevi boys hostel. In this hostel they force you to Sign the time bonding papers and after that you have to live there until and unless your bond don't gets break after that time.Whether you want to live there or not,whether your coaching course is over and you want to go home. you can not go.If you get sick and want to go home for a month or two you will still have to pay the the monthly fee.Moreover the charges are high and sometimes the food also tastes bad. I've lived in this hostel for 2 years. I would honestly suggest that You should not live here.

All i can said is food quality is worst here is and wifi always stop without reason at all
