Very good place. The staffs were wonderful and the food was delicious. They cooked great bangali dish. You can see the sunrise over the snow capped mountain from inside your room. Highly recommend to stay in this place if you are visiting Kalimpong.
My God the view! The place is beautiful and untouched by chaos till now. It's quiet and peaceful around there. The hotel staff is very friendly, food is good as well. It takes a 105 stairs climb to the hotel from the road but, completely worth it.

Very bad experience. Place is really beautiful but the ower of this place is very rude, has no sense of talking & no respect for women whatsoever. He forced us into an argument at 10:30 in the night, kept fighting for one blanket that we put on the floor. Next morning also he continued fighting, raising his voice & threatening us while we were trying to talk & he made sure we paid him for that blanket. The blanket was not at all dirty or damaged, one of their people checked, we asked him to check, he refused, he just wanted the money & he made sure he took Rs1000 from us for the blanket that cost only Rs450/500. Just because it's a small village & they know everyone there so they take full advantage of that. I've been to 3 other home stays before going here, they were all amazing & this chibbo homestay was the worst experience. These people should understand that their homestay is their source of income & if they treat their guest like this then its gonna be difficult for them coz we'll give bad reviews. Good luck to those two brothers (the owner of chibbo homestay).
The place is so beautiful but the hospitality at Chibbo Inn is so disappointing it's sad. The owners are so rude and unruly and have absolutely no respect for their guests. They created such an uproar over one blanket that was used to sit on the floor even after being offered the money for the dry cleaning and went to the extent of threatening us with 'well see how you leave this place without giving the money for the blanket which costs around 500-700 bucks maximum
I had a very bad experience with this booking. The location is very remote and cars faced a lot of dofficulty in reaching there. Roads are very poor. It is also worst.
My family refused to stay there as the locality and the condition of the chibbo inn is worst.
The Chibbo inn is claming they did not received any money and confirmed booking details. They can manage 2 rooms for 6/6/2018 and 1 room for 7/6/2018 though we have booking for 2 rooms 2 nights.
Please take necessary action .. Rating below zero.
Homestay with the Bhattarais is away from the main market area but very nice location overlooking the kanchajunga. Value For money. Stayed in one big family room for 8 @ 2500/= per night and food 4 meals @ 450/= per person per day homely wholesome.
The climb up from the car park is a little difficult 100 steps up hill through cardamom gardens is the only deterrent.
Tea leaves are available for purchase.
This group has many Home stays in and arround kalimpong. We had a very pleasant stay. The owners are very helpful and nice. You can do barbeques over there. Cottages are neat and clean. Food taste is good but a bit can be imrpoved as far quantity is concerned.
