THE CHENNAI INN - Hotel in Chennai - Chengalpattu, India

I must say that my experience at The Chennai Inn was less than satisfactory. The hotel's functionality left a lot to be desired, and the quality of the rooms was not up to par. While the staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating, the overall access to the hotel was quite disappointing. If you have a vehicle, especially a four-wheeler, there were concerns about its safety, which was quite unsettling. The room rates also seemed a bit steep for the location and the type of clientele the hotel was attracting. Despite the lack of demand, the prices were on par with hotels in more central areas like T Nagar or Ashok Nagar. Although the place itself is nice and the staff are courteous, it didn't meet the standards I was expecting for a comfortable stay.

Rooms are well maintained with full features. The nearest supermarket is advantageous here. Hotels are little far and the main disadvantage is no mobile signal inside the rooms and no more WiFi connection except reception. Sometimes the tap & shower gives black water in the bathroom.

Good to stay, Owner is very friendly, even he responded to me at 2:00 clock ( in the night) for check in , hotel staff are good and their service is good. You can stay there peacefully and it also having function hall if your having any functions then go for it for good service. You can find foods and other needs near at the premises. Con's: Only one There is no window in the rooms.

Very poor experience with the Chennai Inn & MMT Booking. Worst in the lifetime. I travelled all the way from Bangalore in the morning to find out that they don't have rooms available despite me having reserved hourly stays using MakeMyTrip. I even called them the previous night to confirm if I will get the room as per my plan, they said yes. When I reached there, they outright denied any space even for me to get ready for my meeting. What a day waste of hospitality. Never trusting them again. Neither MMT nor this hotel. Unhelpful staff and whole team. Will not recommend them to you if you are reading this review. Book somewhere where they give some importance to the guest. Rather spend Rs100-Rs500 extra on a better hotel, atleast you will have confirmed room. They could have told me the previous night itself that rooms might not be available, I could have planned better.

*The hotel seemed to be new, so not many tourists know or stay in such a distant and deserted area. *The rooms r large and enough spacious for a 3 person. *Staffs were also friendly and the cost is within budget as compared to other hotels in that area. *The main issue we faced was fooding, as there were no accommodation for fooding yet, and restaurant were far from it, so we had to order food from online. *But there was a small shopping centre beside it that readily sells a lot of things that you need handy, and well connected to airport and transport and communication were also fine. You could easily get a cab or auto directly from highway.

Rooms are ok for the price..No restaurant close to it which makes food options difficult.Accessibilty via 4 wheeler or 2 wheeler is easy since it is on 200 feet road itself. No covered parking Parking is on service road only.

A normal decent hotel for stay..loaction is near to tambaram railwaystation..its the major advantage..neat bathrooms..There is no restaraunt..they get food from outside...We cant even taste it..worst one..just for stay..its good and rate reasonable..
