The Cascade Restaurant - Chinese restaurant in Secunderabad, Hyderabad - Hyderabad, India

Nostalgic Goodness! It had been awhile since we visited a decent Hakka Chinese restaurant. Nan King seemed to hold its own, but the portions are for the entire family and the age of its interiors are showing. Upon a bit of search, we came across The Cascade Restaurant in Kompally and it did not disappoint! Location Located just above Croma on the 1st floor, you park your car in the basement with access to a lift that takes you to the restaurant quite easily. It is rather convenient and if you choose to do some local grocery shopping too (as well as electronics), there is a Vijetha supermarket just below. Ambience Once you enter you are greeted by cozy warm lighting, soft Asian instrumental tunes in the background and well placed tables and chairs. On the evening we went there were only a couple of tables busy but we could tell that they cater quite a bit for delivery within the local community too. Sofas were comfortable and for the children they have a crossword puzzle as a placemat holder that should keep them busy for a little while. Interestingly we also noticed in the menu that there are several branches in Tamilnadu with one of them being in Hyderabad! Food Being just two of us, we couldn't experience too much variety but suffice to say, what we ordered was excellent! This in fact resulted us visiting again in just a couple of days. On our first visit we ordered Pad Thai and Chilli Chicken. The second visit we had Some Ginger Garlic Fried Rice and Black Pepper Chicken Gravy. On both occassions, the food was excellent and suited our taste just fine! Cooked beautifully through, the chicken had the right texture mixed with the right level of spices giving our taste buds a delectable experience. Service The staff was very attentive to our needs and catered to us in a very efficient manner. Unlike many other places we frequent which made for an even better experience overall. Overall, a high recommendation for those looking at Chinese food in Kompally with the ambience comfortable for the whole family!

An absolute delight!!! Authentic Chinese cuisine in Kompally... Good option for residents in this part of Hyderabad.. We tried Chicken pakoda (a rarity.. Nanking serves these) , Great Wall Chicken Soup, Shredded Chicken & Pan Fried Noodles.. Prices may seem a bit high though..but authentic taste, ambience are hands down winners!!!

The Cascade restaurant is renowned for its delectable Chinese, Thai, and Malaysian cuisine. It is considered one of the finest Chinese eateries in the city and boasts a pleasing ambiance. The interior design is particularly appealing to those who enjoy taking Instagram-worthy photos. While the restaurant provides parking facilities, there is no valet car service. The hotel staff is exceptional, always available to assist and serve patrons. The food is exceptional, although slightly costly. The desserts are particularly noteworthy, with the fried ice cream being a particular standout.

The place is just chef kiss...the ambience is perfect if you want to enjoy asian cuisine in authentic place. Some of my recommendation would be avocado cheese maki, pad thai noodles, chicken ramen, Vietnamesecoffee. Would love if they can include Koreans dishes too.

I have come to this restaurant many times thinking about Thai, Japanese, and other Asian food, especially sushi, and have always been impressed by the atmosphere and service

The decor of the restaurant is striking, with its dark tones and red lights creating a stylish and sophisticated atmosphere. The attention to detail in the design is impressive, and it certainly adds to the overall experience of dining there. As for the food, I found the Chicken Bao to be particularly noteworthy. The texture of the bao is crucial to the dish, and it's great to know that it was fluffy and delicious. However, their Garlic Chicken Fried Rice was not quite up to par. Perhaps it was an off day in the kitchen, as I've heard many positive reviews of this dish in the past. One thing to note is that the entrance to the restaurant is a bit tricky to find. You have to use the inside lift, which is only accessible from the parking lot. Once you figure out this little quirk, though, it's smooth sailing from there. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious Chinese food in a stylish and sophisticated setting.

The Cascade provides a moody & cozy dining ambiance, with excellent food and exceptional service. Originally from Chennai, they've managed to replicate & exceed the original restaurant's achievements. Special shoutout to our server Vijay for his recommendations & top-class service! Some of my favourite dishes : Dynamite shrimp, Dimsum basket, Thai Iced Tea, Vietnamese Coffee, Ice Kachang.

We have been visiting this beautiful restaurant since 3 years now, and it has been our go-to place for Chinese cuisine. The fooood is absolutely delicious, ambience is brilliantly lit up, and the service is toooo gooood. It's a must visit!
