The Candlewood Park Beach Resort - Resort hotel in Mandarmani - Medinipur East, India

This resort is located at the best place accompanied with delicious cooking. But the only drawbacks are that the rooms and service provided does not explain the price they command. None of the rooms are sea facing but their promises are and will definitely charge you for the view of the "beautiful bushes" which are way too "less" for an exotic view of trees. The whole room arrangements along with the resort is made for a corporate retreat rather than a family vacation. The location is nice and the dishes are amazingly good. They are overpriced but depends if you are willing to give in to the rates. Do visit and share your experience as this was mine.

3 star hotel but 5 star service. Room prices are reasonable and rooms are very spacious and executive rooms have a great view to the beach. Most importantly this place is Pet Friendly. Food quantity and quality both are amazing. Although room services are a bit slower and need maintanence of rooms to some extent but we enjoyed our stay every moment in Candlewood Park Beach Resort. Would love to visit again.

Location was fabulous.the room we got....was amazing.If we'll talk about hygiene staff,then we would love to say that room was completely hygienic and we got well comforts,but yeah they need to improve electricity stuff, the AC had in that room need to work properly also electricity was gone for two or three minutes,but I would love to say that the room service was amazing if we'll talk about food that was also delicious.We enjoyed wonderful time near Sea beach.The Hotel have nice seating area near Sea beach. and in the end I would love to say that, yeah we enjoyed our time at this hotel. This is nice place for staying and chill stuff for one or two nights.

The hotel was really good, location of the hotel is also present. All the staff was very helpful and very polite. Except the reception boy, he is very rude and his behaviour was very bad. 1st of all he give me a wrong room. After 1day another staff help me to change my room and give the room which I actually booked. During the time of checkout the reception boy called me in a rude voice and behave very bad... I will never going back to this again after that incident...

Yesterday was my 4th stay at Candlewood and this is the second time in Forestta. A uniquely designed and decorated masterpiece stands right opposite to the other resort - Candlewood Beach Resort. The stay was extremely comfortable and the staffs are amazingly courteous. The interiors of the room gives you a vintage feel with all premium fittings everywhere. Since I went with my 4months old daughter, I couldn't think of more hygienic and comfortable than Candlewood - Forestta resort. Just a few mins of walk and you can experience the best beach shack of Candlewood right in front of the beach. My wife had left her spectacles at the room and the staffs are so kind and responsible that they called me and searched for a guest who stays closer to my house and the guest is actually bringing the spectacles today. I don't know what more do we expect at Mandarmani Guest from Room# 2006, checked in on 18th Nov 2023 Regards Sumit Mukherjee

The forestta part of Candelwood is good as it is newly built. The old rooms are not in very good condition due to lack of maintenance. Most importantly Samiran who is the Manager at Forestta was extremely courteous and welcoming. Staffs are very less which makes the service slow

Overall the hotel location is very good. You can enjoy and relax in front of the beach. The hotel could have been a lot cleaner, the toilets are not that clean and spacious. The service by the staff is commendable and very good. The food is also good. But it's a nice place to stay if you keep the cleanliness part aside.

Since 2017, I have been coming to this resort with my family & my pug dog. For me, Mandarmani is Candlewood Resort. Started staying at executive rooms, last stayed at their Royal Cottage Room, last week. Tried their new pool which again will attract me to visit quite often. Just the rooms need maintenance with their ACs & bathroom fittings. Food is great. Service is great. Loved the hospitality. Visit you soon...
