I was late getting breakfast and found this place open. The place looks well kept and neat. They did not have paddu, but they had the rottis. I ordered a plate of akki rotti. It is two akki rottis with chick pea masala, chutney podi and kai chutney. It was different from akki rottis I have had in other places and delicious. I am hoping to go there for lunch thalli one of these days.

All dishes are too good, I tried most of the dishes, highly recommend.

What can I say about this place! Super delicious, authentic North Karnataka food is served here. Had a chance to savor typical NK meals and every bite made me crave for more. The jolada rotti is so super soft, it almost melts in the mouth. The ennegaayi and other curry served along add the spicy flavor to enhance the taste of rotti. Bajji was super crispy and with apt spice. Shenga holige is another must try. The place is run by dedicated professionals who treat customers like their family and serve with love. I simply enjoyed having my meals here. Another highlight is the boards in Kannada. Don't miss reading them.

Food quality was good. But the price is very much hyped for the quantity they serve. Other fast food restaurants serve more items and charge Rs65 to 80 only. But here they charge Rs 120. Atleast they can increase the quantity of rice. It doesn't cost them much. May be that's thier strategy by pushing customers to buy more items to increase the billing. We could see few visitors ordering another plate of meals. Above all they miss out pappads which is part of the meals. Unless you ask repeatedly you will left out which makes us embarrassed.

Brilliant food and great value for money. I took jowar roti meals. Sumptuous one for 70 INR. And it's in a place where there are no much affordable veg restaurants. Will visit again if happen to be near UB city.

Run by a lovable couple (Madhavi ji and her spouse) basically serves north Karnataka jolada rotti oota with typical agasi , shinga, chutney and delectable pickle. Apart from different items that are mentioned in the menu the best is a combo meal with two jowar rotis two typically North Karnataka priced at very reasonable rs 100 only. 2 sabjis rasam, sambar, curds, onions salad and mirchi bhajji and papad and of course rice. Perfect and fulfilling. Very tasty and satisfying. Pure ghee was also served complementary. Very friendly women's running place like Home kitchen. Must visit place. Parking is not there in the lane. So make sure you park it on Saint marks road automated pay and park. 20 RS per hour. Penalty for exceeding the limit hefty RS 500

Absolute gem in the center of the city... Deliciously cooked homestyle north kannada food served generously with good service. We had the jolada roti thali with bhajji as sides and Holige as dessert. Very reasonably priced. All this costed us Rs160 only. So if you are looking to have a home style cooked food, good quality and taste and are content with a clean and neat not so plush ambience, do visit here to experience north Karnataka food.

They do offer Millet based lunch to your door steps or to your office which are near to the St.Marks road vicinity and the products they deliver are like Jowar roti, mixed millet roti, ragi ball, chapathy. Note, Minmum order of atleast 10 plates are mandatory as on date.
